Enemies defeated and medals earned not progressing. Is this a know bug and what’s the fix?

Okay so abandoning the quest and re-aquiring from Shaxx seems to work finally got to 19%. Hope this gets addressed soon because by the time I’ve realized the damn thing isn’t moving I’ve already wasted time.

Did your quest restarted from zero after abandoning and re adquirir it ?
