So, the reward of reaching 950 base is to have only 2 activities left worth playing?
Not even 3 weeks, and all content that is getting me progress is one raid and one 100k per week... with this, not even with 100% good luck in not getting duplicates, it is less than 1 powerlevel per week... so, we are already back at playing just 1-2 hours after weekly reset and quit until next tuesday... wow....

Bungie didn’t think it would turn out this way and when the last of the activities comes out people will do it a couple of times and just go back to 2 hours a week game play.

I want to feel bad for you. But its only been a few weeks. Good chunk of the player base is no where near that point and Bungie isnt and shouldnt cater to the people who speed run like sonic then complain there is nothing to do.

Edited by ScottF 2112: 10/20/2019 7:35:37 PMI agree that 950 is basically like hitting max light in terms of reasons to chase level. I got my first guy to 950 without artifact. My second guy got to 949 without artifact in less than a day and should be 950 tonight. I guess I'll spend a day or two on the third at some point. At this point for me it is time to chase ritual/pinnacle weapons and stockpile resources for next season. We can also chase rolls of armor and try to get all the exotic armor to drop again with better stats than we get from collections. I'll mostly just do PVP and resource gathering until next season. I'll also be back to core farming with Spider, buying cores from Spider, etc. So basically a couple of weeks of essential work with the DLC then 10 weeks of play if you feel like it.

dude im 100 hours in and still need to max my titan and get one more armor peice for my warlock I paid $60 and there is three more seasons I am more than happy with them not bloating the content by making it take forever dropping most of the prime weeklies was a red herring though it did concern me it didn't take me nearly as long to get to 950 on my hunter (200 light levels) as it did with forsaken (50 light levels) so it's nice you get a lot more light levels from the smaller pool with the final 10 being obnoxious but not really required (Datto pointed out that it's currently impossible to reach true max and may never be possible if due to rng)

Yeah the pinnacle power level grind just seems insane (yes yes before any smart arse says i'm not quite there yet) To me it just feels unnecessary and i'm really not going to bother, just let me chill out and grind out the seals instead. (Even though the've added the new ritual weapons to the collections badge, and while they're no longer pinnacle weapons the grind is still just as much)

If you're only goal is to reach max power that's all you have left. Getting the right armour sets & stats & builds is something I'll be working towards. I also need mods, triumphs an some specific weapon rolls.

If all you care about is going for a little more power then yes, but the dungeon may add more pinnacle drops along with IB rn.
