Xol I believe is still alive despite us “killing” him. If actually listened to Toland’s ramblings in the dreaming city ascendant plane, he asks if you truly believe you killed the worm god, xol. That leads at least me to believe he is still alive

Xol is unquestionably still alive, at least by hive standards. That’s the problem though, it’s not entirely clear what constitutes as dead for hive, let alone a worm god. From what we can tell, Xol is using us to carry out his worship of the deep. We’re not even being tricked into helping him. We just are, since we can’t help but use powerful weapons (WotW)
