The only reason to stand with annor is to get lore. The drifter is better in every other way

- this drifter guy shows up right after Cayde dies - the bullet used to kill cayde’s ghost was infused with hive components. -cayde ran with the drifter way back when. My thesis is that the drifter wanted Cayde dead because he knew what drifter was up to. Also siding with the vanguard is what Cayde would have wanted.

It's spelled Aunor. Put some respect on her name!

Pointless post

I know he is unpopular but I still stand with my man Zavala.

Edited by RPColten: 9/19/2019 11:31:57 PMChoosing to side and support a man who is infamous for only caring for himself and setting all others aside? A man who is on the run from monsters (Darkness or Guardian) and is only trying to get others to support him so that he can have some bodyguards to protect him? His entire story (so far) is literally just episodes of him lying to anyone he comes across.

Edited by Cinderchar: 9/19/2019 8:23:17 PMHe’s better in so many ways you couldn’t even list one because where would you start?
-
Wow, you decided to make a garbage post about something people barely cared about months ago. Nice job.

Edited by superskybro: 9/19/2019 1:36:54 PMI disagree, I believe that while Anor can be very brash and zealous to the traveler she does overall have a much better outlook on the future. Drifter is a man who gave up on hope, I believe that our characters biggest goal in thus game is to bring hope to what's left of humanity Drifter is entirely against that I sided with Anor because I don't believe in running away and hiding from my problems, if I'm gonna fight for something I might as well fight to the end like MAN not a rat
-
Considering the Vanguard folds like a cheap lawn chair every time something goes wrong, the answer was pretty obvious.
-
I disagree. Can never side with the Drifter considering he stated he's given up on humanity, and will not try to help them.
-
Reading the lore makes you understand annour and the vanguard and actually makes you question bring a part of TLC. She attacked a group of people INSIDE the city, without even knowing they criminals. She could've killed innocent people Drifter all the way
-
Well, who is annor? And why he is worse to that other dude? Do they have some sort of argument or contest? What is going on dude!
-
I dont pick sides.
-
Drifter has always been better than poopy aunor
-
How is this important? Its not like the quest means something. Its just idle talk from both sides and kids drama.
-
I keep reading people say sided with so and so. At what point do we do that? Have I missed some quests or missions?
-
I went for the better loot. But, ultimately you can make the decision 3 times, so I have 2 vanguard, 1 drifter. If and when the "story matters" I'll be covered.
-
I edged the odds. Warlock = Vanguard, Hunter = Drifter, Titan = Never completed the quest so Neutral it is.
-
Pretty much the only reason to stand with the Drifter is because I get sick of the whole snitch thing.
-
what if I don't trust either one?
-
I did both, just to see both outcomes. and to see what changes the implent in the future based off of these outcomes (if they ever revisit this)
-
All my 3 characters are with the drifter. No I don't regret it.
-
Ok but where's the unpopular opinion?
-
And this is why we carry alts. Drifter might look at my Titan funny every time he comes by and whispers mean things when he leaves, but my Hunter gets to be part of his cool kids club and gets extra Gambit invades.
-
Same. I only wanted the lore from her side. As I did the Vanguard side, I felt bad for spying on Drifter’s tapes, as I felt terrible for Drifter when I sided with him and heard his tapes. He’s just a ravaged man trying to survive and make some money.
-
I wholeheartedly agree with you on this. At least Drifter offers a sense of freedom and individuality.
