There's only one way Bungie is going to Nerf Jotunn...
My Clan is up over 100 people at this point. The majority of us, it seems, have Jotunn.
We're going to start going into the Crucible in teams of 3-6 and all primarily rely on Jotunn, and basically nothing else.
We did this the other day and our one clanmate who is not a PvP-Player (usually she's excited to get 3+ kills in Crucible) managed to go on a 5 match streak of getting 10 - 20 kills... Jotunn is a problem.
Everyone wants Trials to come back, but really, with Jotunn being what it is, you want Trials back? The only way Bungie is going to do what needs to be done with Jotunn is if it finally is so prominently "In Their Face" that they have no choice but to discuss it the way they did with Lord of Wolves and Prometheus Lens, and the Infinite Nova-Bomb Glitch... so...
As much as I hate to be "Part of the Problem," we're all-in on this. We're going to 6-stack and load in QP, probably on a daily basis, and just use the biggest "No Skill" Weapon that Destiny has arguably ever seen, until so many people run to Reddit and Twitter and these Forums to complain, that Bungie FINALLY has to say, "Okay, okay. We'll Nerf the Special-Ammo Rocket-Launcher and it's Truth-Level Tracking."
Our Clan apologizes in advance to anyone we come across doing this, but, there's literally no other way.

I’m with you on this one. I think Bungie need to listen to the majority, and nerf this weapon. All these people saying about lack of skill being the problem - try facing a whole team of Jotunn wielders- I have and it’s not fun. I know this is an older post but still, to say that if you can’t dodge it, you have no skill is extremely unobservant. Perhaps some of these use Jotunn themselves and can’t bear to see their precious no-skill-needed weapon go down the pan. I personally think Jotunn should have been a heavy, then at least those using it would need to fight to get their ammo. 😌

Actually there's a quicker/easier way to get it nerfed: get a streamer to complain about it.

JUMP - boom problem solved. Edit: for those still struggling, here’s the exact steps - wait for the muzzle flash, jump then double jump. If your getting wrecked at close range - what makes you think you would’ve survived from a backup plan erentil or similar in the exact same situation?

6 RepliesYes, please, get Jotunn nerfed, PvE hasn’t been screwed over enough by PvP. I think you guys could do a lot more damage before the game feels completely mediocre.
