If a Cayde-7 happens this is what I want

A completely different person. I want to see the sadness of everyone when they see their friend come back from some stupid miracle except he doesn’t know who any of them are and isn’t even the same person. His personality has done a complete 180 to the point where you kinda don’t wanna like him, but at the same time he was YOUR friend so how could you not. If that can be done I feel like that would be the only reasonable way to bring back Cayde. Edit 1: I hate that a post that’s purely opinionated and is a what if scenario which would most likely NEVER happen is the post that becomes 2nd on trending instead of some amazing lore theory or interesting lore stories. Shame Edit 2: I AM NOT REFERRING TO ANYTHING. IT IS A SIMPLE WHAT IF SCENARIO

 • Well, he would have to be rebooted if brought back to become Cayde-7 and is without a Ghost so.. The 2 ways I can see this going would be the Deep Stone Crypt, which would be Annual Pass/Seasonal DLC content or something to do with Cayde's consciousness existing within the Vex collective, sort of like Captain Jacobson. He's dead, you can clearly see he's dead when you see his body, but he's also a friendly Harpie. Using Vex tech, like what we did with Sagira taking over our Ghost would be a way to bring Simulant Cayde back into our reality, but again he would need an initial reboot without the Light. [If a Vex could be rebooted, would it remember it was Vex?] 🤔
