That perk is a rip off of the raid sparrow, that was a hard sparrow people wanted because of the perk, its no longer special because a legendary sparrow has the same perk (why is that sparrow even legendary)

Well it did before bungie copied and pasted the perk on to some random sparrow thats requires a grind directed toward making players play the game for a absurd amount of time

And that raids unique reward was a sparrow that wasn’t targeted as often, a very special perk which was for that sparrow only, now anyone can get what made that raid sparrow (only exotic one in D2) special on a sparrow.

you are correct, thought its kinda dumb to leave a sparrow perk raid exclusive, not sure many people were doing it primarily for the sparrow.

Because its what makes getting awesome. In D1 they did the same think the perk was called overdrive it was raid exclusive for all raids and boosted sparrow speed for a temporary time to high speeds

Have you even played SoTP its a really good perk considering its also a “hidden item” you have to do it a way thats a tad bit more annoying and it has a very low drop rate. It is hard to get and now it seems it will be coming on alot more sparrows making the work toward a special sparrow that has a special perk useless compared to newer sparrows that will get the perk easier.

I'm also willing to bet getting the event sparrow is actually more work than getting the sotp one.

You can get it in a week and some people who’ve been raiding since week 2 of black armory dont have it still. Its not more work

thats called rng my friend, however the process is a thousand times easier considering to get it youre doing the easiest step in the easiest raid in destiny 2. Time does not = Difficulty.

Yes, I've completed sotp multiple times with my clan. And yet not a single time was I salivating over the thought of getting a half-decent perk on a SPARROW, the cosmetic side of the game is not that important to me, leave that to the events and let us have something nice thats hidden in a raid. Maybe a unique mod or something more interesting than a sparrow with a unique perk. I mean honestly saying that out loud makes it seem even lamer than it probably is.
