I said this last time as well. Unless you are running the newest end game content, you have absolutely no need to be max power nor use max power gear and all the extra perks etc they may have. What you have now is sufficient for all content out now and in the past. Use it, have fun with it, and work on new stuff for when you do tackle the content

Also, that's the same thing I tell my clan when they're -blam!- and moaning about cores. You literally don't need max level shit until you're ready to tackle max level content. But nobody else seems to get the logic.

That's the problem. Nobody knows how to have fun. Everyone blames Bungie for making their game a job. Nobody is forcing people to treat this like a job. Everyone just has to chase the carrot because they're afraid they won't fit in with the 5% of people that do treat the game as a job. Too busy worrying about getting left behind to enjoy the game.
