Enjoying it so far, this is also my first Souls game, luckily I've got people who have somewhat guided me through these paths of hell. I'm at the Curse-Rotted Greatwood, y'all get any tips?
Update: Fuck this game.
Update 2: Pimple tree has been defeated, Crystal Sage is next!

1 ReplyOh, boy the Crystal Sage is the #1 HARDEST boss in the game. The demon of hatred from Sekiro is easier.
This is sarcasm. Probably the easiest boss in the game. Just use throwing knives the kill the clones. They die in one hit from anything.
Learn to parry before you get to Pontiff. Make him your -blam!- before he makes you his.

1 ReplyTough enemy ahead therefore try ranged battle

10 RepliesI’ve been there. DS3 was my first souls game. Once you finish it you’ll look back at all those times you struggled and laugh at your previously casual ways. Anyways I highly recommend looking up guides for all the quests as completing them is highly rewarding and makes the game easier.

1 ReplyBeen a while Xûr good to see you around

The game is honestly quite easy. A few tips below: 1: Always keep your equip load stat below 70% so that you don't fat roll. 2: It's okay to run past enemies if you feel you can't beat them. 3: Strength builds are the easiest builds to use if you want an easier experience. Claymore with the Fallen Knight gear that you find in the swamp location is solid. 4: Don't rush through the game and explore thoroughly. 5: I personally don't recommend a spell build. I've never liked spells and find a large sword more reliable. 6: If you have a lot of souls, always spend them before entering a boss area. Plz, it'll be less painful. 7: Your shield blocks a lot of damage. You don't always need to roll but, for dark souls 3 rolling is probably better.

2 RepliesI rage quitted at High Wall of Lothric after dying continuously for 4 hours. Dark Souls is too hard for an impatient noob like me
-
4 RepliesYou already got some tips for this boss so good luck. But in the next area, there will be two optional enemies at the end of it. You can run past but you should kill them, as one of them drops one if the best weapons in the game.

Yeah, you have a ways to go yet before the game actually gets hard.

Try tongue but whole

When you fall into the acid pit - smash the front first. That way you can move onto the back quicker and don't have to deal with the hand. It also means you can save your estus for acid damage.

Edited by D, Hunter of the Dead: 7/12/2019 5:49:43 PMIt doesn't really get hard till Pontiff but there are some early bosses that are annoying as hell (curse rotted greatwood and old demon king imo). Just perseve and have patience through the hard parts For the greatwood in particular I found the best way to fight him is to always be at his sides or behind. Never be in front of him

Yeah, skip that boss until you're done with the catacombs. Then it'll be a piece of cake
-
Beware the fat roll. Save boss souls so you can buy boss gear. Ignore the small enemies and just focus on popping that nasty tree's pimples. Fire helps. Don't rush into fights, play defensive and learn the boss's moves then when you think you got them figured out, smash them.

LOL why would anybody downvote this?

1 ReplyExplore everywhere - there’s lots of secret paths and areas that are easy to miss. And don’t forgot...
Git gud
It's an optional boss, if you didn't know. Use a lot of charcoal pine resin/bundles and bust those balls.
