Tweak Warlock’s Blink and Rift to be more viable in Crucible.
The more I use the Warlock’s blink and rift abilities in the Crucible, the less I’m intrigue by them. Here is why: 1) unable to instantly fire weapons/delay in weapon ready as I hover in the air after blink animation. This puts Warlocks in a vulnerable and defenseless position. 2) blink is supposed to be a jump and a dodge but doesn’t dodge bullets while in animation state, collide with bullets and absorb damages. 3) close quarter and narrow hallway in Crucible maps hinder blink ability due to the lack of directional control. 4) rift cast time/animation takes too long, putting the Warlock in a vulnerable and defenseless position for the duration of cast time which is about 2 1/2 sec. 5) casting rift on a uneven plain the rift does not empowered or heal when the caster and allies are not on the same plain. 6) casting rift after a slide or a sprint close to wall, near a boulder, or on uneven plain disrupt rift formation. The animation goes off but there is no rift. Again, this put the Warlock in a vulnerable and defenseless position. I’ve experienced many situations where blink and rift frustrate me. I really hope Bungie improves blink and rift for the betterment of the class and quality of life.
