Wrongly banned

I had purchased destiny 2: Complete collection yesterday and i played for a little while. However i login today and play for 1-2 hours, then decide to leave the game open and play a different game. when i came back to destiny 2 i am surprised with a message saying i have been banned. I have checked the banned article to see the issue but none of that applies. So in this case i believe i was wrongly banned due to opening up another game at the same time. Other game: (World of Tanks) I hope this can be resolved ASAP, Kind regards, Jack

They don't care. Loyalty. Time played. Content purchased. Gear earned. When you started. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. There is no course of action to appeal any punishment issued. They WILL NOT lessen or remove any punishment issued for any reason.

PC Bans are usually due to 3rd party software, such as cheat engine, running in the background. The system submits an auto-report with the information to the Bungie team. You'll have to create a new account and buy the game again if you wish to continue playing.

      • Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific, this could include any mods that you may have used for World of Tanks. Bungie does not discuss restrictions or bans. Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929 https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47715 *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.
