Nostalgia: having an effectionate feeling you have for something in the past, whether it's happy or sad. Any game can give you that sense of nostalgia; Whether it's the game you played with your best friend when you were young, or the game that you and your brother/sister would play till the end till you have it finished. What games to this day give you that sense of nostalgia?
For me, there was a few:
Super Mario Bros 2: the first game I ever played and the first game I ever completed. I never felt so accomplished in my life at the time! The character select music gives me a tear of joy every time :'(
GTA Vice City: Another game I fell in love with when I was younger. I didn't fully finish it as the disk got badly scratched, but MAN was it a kickass GTA entry!
The Simpsons Hit and Run: I always tried to get that rocket car that was in the power plant and drive it as fast as I can without it exploding. It was virtually impossible, but it was really fun!

Minecraft. I remember years ago, when friends and I were cheering when another one of our friends was making a portal into the Nether. Ahhh, good times.

There was this game called Snowboard Kids 2 on the N64 that me and my brother played a lot of. I wouldn't mind tracking down the game again. Good times.

Halo 3 Didn’t have an Xbox, but I’d go over my friends house to sleepover. We would play late into the night, in the dark basement. I remember eating some orange chicken and feeling sick after too.

Going way back, Halo: CE. First game I really remember playing alot. When I was like 4. More recent, MW2 and MW3. Tons of hours in those two games.

7 RepliesThe original Ratchet and Clank comes to mind. It's basically the reason I play video games, and in particular the platformer genre.

Pokémon games in general. I used to play them a ton, not anymore. Last one I bought was Omega Ruby. I’ve been getting back into it. And whenever I see a video of someone playing pokemon it makes me feel nostalgic
