It's funny how they jump onto this and disable it within hours of people finding a glitch that HELPS US, but take forever to deal with issues like people lag switching and DDOSING or glitches in raids that cause wipes due to mechanics failing or relics disappearing.
Just amazes me at how fast they jumped on this, especially since you had to have completed the quest BEFORE this morning's patch and for what ever reason NOT picked up your weapon the night before....what are the odds of someone unlocking the recluse and thinking " you know what? i'll just end it there and pick it up tomorrow.."

Good job on those youtubers and streamers though who abused the -blam!- out of it, got all the cores they want and then went on to bungie and told them to fix it...like you gonna delete your 7k cores after spilling the beans then? Didn't think so...

I was a beta day oner too lol my dumb ass pre-ordered the Ghost Edition back in the day LOL it's nice hearing the ol' Dinklebot once in a while though haha.

They are apart of the game working as intended. End game Cores are just another Throttle to slow down progression when the only content in this game right now is just to reach max light.

They don't actually slow down progression though. Enhancement cores have 0 to do with how fast you level up

and struggle to find gear that has good rolled perks AND look good....I know most people loved them bringing back RNG perks to gear but I personally hate it...my character looks ugly as -blam!-, I wish they'd at least have Curated Armour sets mixed in with the RNG rolled sets to go with the Curated Weapons grind. I have yet to find a Gambit Prime set that has good perks, they're all useless lmao I mean I still use them for the class specific bonuses, but the perks are all trash.

The switches to input the code to gain access to the Leviathan underbelly have been bugged since before the season of the Forge yet Bungie made it a prerequisite to open the last Forge. That was so aggravating that I put down D2 weeks ago and am having a hard time motivating myself to return. I haven't touched the Gambit themed stuff. This just makes me want to keep playing other games for awhile.

It worked a diiferent way as well. I could see the 21% quest at drifter on my hubter even though I picked it up and completed it on my titan last week. People were able to exploit that as well. Just log in grab the quest head to orbit and back and farm the weapon.

Yeah, i don't know how can LOTS of people did not instantly went to claim their pinnacle weapon after finishing it. I felt like they know what glitch is coming soon and decided to wait it out to abuse the heck out of it. It smells way too fishy for me. But then again, it doesn't help 95% of people? It made 5% way way way way richer, so it's good thing they disabled it. But I bet they will not do anything to those 5% who managed to abuse the glitch, which makes me pretty much salty and losing hope in this devs already. D3 come out? Nah, I ended my career on D2 and will move on to other game when they stopped the content coming on D2. Not gonna spend anymore dime for bungo.

It's good they disabled it but punishing those who abused it is a little too far if you ask me simply because it was bungie fault that they, intentionally or not added, you can't ban people for exploiting your own accidents... (unless it's really serious)
