Hello all, Like many of us I'm a sniper lover, I've invested thousands of hours learning how to snipe from Counter-Strike (PC), going trough Battlefield (PS3) to Destiny (PS4). I find sniping not only one of the most skilled classes but also one of the most rewarding and fun when played well. [b]Unfortunately Destiny 2 was the first FPS game ever who made me quit snipers[/b], simply because they aren't fun nor competitive in fact they are garbage and completely useless. I've listen to many different opinions most of them from people who are not snipers, mainly because most people who were snipers just left Destiny to play other games. [b]But what really turns me off is that to be a sniper in Destiny 2 you need to:[/b] train 12h per day, spend 5 years studying at NASA, go trough a Marine recruitment during 3 years and have the reflexes of a peregrine falcon and the moving speed of a cheetah. While to score a kill with a Jotunn (zero skill, one bodyshot one kill), Colony (zero skill, literally shoot the floor and get kills), Wavesplitter (zero skill, super range, no flinch) or a Bow (no flinch, huge range) you only need half a brain. If you use a sniper you have only two bullets on spawn, if you score a kill the ammo packs will be miles away from you, so grabbing greens will be a nightmare. The flinching is simply ridiculous, it doesn't matter how far your enemy is you will get flinched hard even if he has an auto rifle. Sometimes you get flinched and they are not even shooting at you in fact even the friendly fire flinches you. The scopes are all long range and the maps are mainly small, oh and in the middle of all this nightmare you need to land an headshot to score a kill, which is probably one of the hardest tasks in the game. So while this sniper circus is going on all your enemy's are playing and having fun with Shotguns and Fusions, full of energy ammo, just running around shooting and killing everyone while you are trying to find a lane to to spend your two bullets and pray for an headshot. It's just not fair, Bungie is a balance freak I wonder why haven't the snipers been balanced since the launch of Destiny 2. It's truly ridiculous.
