Topic body...let's raise our voices to end this....the fact that we have to use the little cores we have for infusion and we even barely get cores to begin with...either cores are made easy to acquire or removed from infusion......well this was bound to have an opposition faction.....Bungie it's about time you did something...can't you hear your people's humble cry...1800+ guardians and yet still bungie is doing the bird box challenge.

Still needs to happen

I’m bumping this thread for its relevance given all the current Enhancement Core threads. Also, with the upcoming Community ( re. streamer ) Summit, I’m hoping that dmg and Cozmo will once again have a flick through this thread and show it to the Investment team.

Bump.

Totally agree. Cores should NEVER have been added to infusion (thanks 'community' summit). To me its the biggest problem in this game right now - as in the entire economy system built around artificial time extention to game play to get those time metrics up. Sad truth is Bungo have tripped down HARD on keeping cores in infusion so I don't see them going out any time soon (mabey September when theve have three level cap increases and people complaining)
-
Still, pisses me off that this is the highest rated topic in the Destiny 2 thread, and the only way for me to find it to refine my searches based on ‘Favorites’. Why doesn’t it show up on ‘Highest Rated’ or ‘Trending’. I still say that Bungie is trying to hide it.
-
rename them to stupidity cores!
-
They can change the name of them to infusion cores /s
-
3 things I still dont understand: - no-lifers who protect the system to death - why Bungie cant acknowledge the issue with the leveling system (using random gear because you cant infuse, no transmog feature, useless year1 gear) - the cost for cores at spider! (if he would sell them for 2-5 shards each, all would be good)

I wonder how many upvotes it would take to get a Community Manager to respond to this thread directly instead of on other threads about this thread. "Respond with what?" You might ask, and correctly as now two different Community Managers have said Cores are apparently staying. I'd like to know the reason why. Whatever justification they have for keeping a deeply unpopular mechanic. Not that it matters ultimately. Player numbers are declining and competition in the form of multiple new games are coming and soon. Are Cores for Infusion still a tedious game mechanic when there aren't any players around to infuse anything anymore?

this is gaining so much traction i love it
-
Bungie: We hear you! Obviously you’re just confused as to their purpose because of their name, so we’re changing them to “augmentation cores”. You’re welcome!
-
Don’t you dare look!!!!!
-
-
If I could play destiny and not have to worry about cores, I would be soooooooo happy.

Threads like these need to be hovering at the top of the forum every day as a reminder of how much people do not like being gamed against by something they payed full price for.
-
This!
-
Hahaha bungie dont care kid get over it
-
Bungie is really pushing players away to other games, it is unbelievable how stubborn they are! Avoiding how the players want to play is just silly. Because we haven't got endless playing time for this full time grinding job called destiny, we have to decide which game we want to play.... I definetively don't want to increase my light level again with this annoying infusion system. So i've now made my decision - for far cry 5+6, anthem and the division. TWAB is a joke. RIP Destiny.

Bump for change.
