A no-meta PvP playlist? Please?
I solo queue Crucible a lot because a lot of my friends hate Crucible, and I don't blame them. There's basically no difference between Quickplay and Comp now. Comp is where you're meant to see a lot of Luna's/Dust Rock/Wardcliff players, but every day I run into at least a good 15-20 players or more over the course of the day IN QUICKPLAY running those kinds of loadouts.
A gear restricted playlist would finally give players a space to run "for fun" loadouts instead of basically being forced to run meta gear in quickplay because other people seem to have forgotten that comp even exists

No DRB, Luna or wardcliff Ok, how is bygones telesto Or how is bygones wavesplitter Or what about any pulse rifle and any secondary shotgun? Don't forget the AOS, Retold tale, colony, trust. Should we remove all those as well? Or are they not part of the meta

What if they made a playlist like the prestige raid lairs? You have to only use certain weapon classes.

You really just need to change how you look at it. I felt the same for a while. Going into a match with at least a 4 team with one eyed masks and lunas. It was frustrating but I kept going. Then I realised, i started getting better and was taking out guys who have played many hours and I have been playing less than 3 months. I often still get absolutely hammered by them but i can feel achievement in my progress. Comp players stomping all over a bunch of newbies don't really have bragging rights. Its like me punching a baby and telling everyone how skilled i am. Its pretty sad. Just keep going and just enjoy it. Let them teabag all they want. They will make you better.

Yes! Have a random loadout playlist. Everyone would have the same armor stats. Different weapon loadouts per week. But, everyone would have the same 3 weapons. No Supers either.

Ive always liked the idea of a 'no exotic or pinnacle weapon' playlist. No crutches.

Dumbest post I’ve seen in awhile. Get rid of those items and something else will be the dominant meta loadout. Something is always on top, top loadouts don’t just go away bc you remove a few items

I’ve said this since Destiny began. I think a playlist with random weapons would be fun, kind of like fiesta on Halo.

2 RepliesIf every primary in the game killed as fast as lunas howl I bet you this game would be balanced. Players would still use shotguns but it would be rare to see them rushing to 24/7 as they do right now.

There is a difference between quickplay and comp... a huge one. Comp you sweat your heart out with sbmm... quickplay you can use whatever and be successful. Luna/nf mean jack all.. 90% of the time the people with those weapons equipped are potatoes. I mean.... my last 13 games I used wish ender/fusion le monarch/shotgun going up against luna/nf/dusk rock and averaged a 2.2 kd/2.79 kda....... I definitely wouldn't say I was sweating or running any form of meta... I was messing about killing potatoes. By your standards though the potatoes would be sweats just because they have a luna/dusk rock 🤔 guess equipped guns make ppl good and scary these days and not actual performance lol.

Dude just use every crutch weapon available don’t moan get even and make the sweats gameplay a pure nightmare.

The skilled players will follow u guys into the “no meta playlist” and still smash you. Then u wont have a back door excuse about why u are losing.

Your not forced to run meta though, you mean you HAVE to play meta, and I bet if you had lunas or NF you wouldnt be asking for this... I have Luna drb and wardcliff but I don’t use them. Ok maybe Luna cod I like it, but won’t catch me using crutch rock blues, meh. I don’t have to run meta to have fun though so you shouldnt either.. use what u want

See here is what you do not understand, there will always be a meta if a weapon gets nerfed the next good weapon will be meta. It has been like this since destiny 1 and it will not change.

It’s called private matches. It would be cool to see a browser of current private matches in your region. Bungie should enhance private match options so that you could limit skill brackets as well as lock out weapons, as well as an option to add a description of your match.

1 ReplyUnless the game provides for a standard loadout, people will always find and use the most lethal combination of weapons and kit. There is no such thing as a "meta".
