I wish I read more. I have a terrible tendency to get halfway through a book & then stop. . . . Ugh, I still need to finish At the Mounrains of Madness..

  • I know how you feel, I used to be that way too. Here's what I did to help with that. This might not sound helpful, but annoying. It helped me though. Advice: Force yourself to read it. That's your mentality talking when you "don't feel like reading," read anyway. Most of the time you would rather watch TV or hang with friends. Perhaps make a reading schedule, doesn't' have to be hard. Maybe set a goal of reading 20 pages a day. That equals out to 140 pages a week. Trust me, it helps.

  • Well, that’s actually not my problem. It’s not that I’d rather do something else, it’s just.. I don’t know exactly what, actually, but I just stop. I’m reading it, every day, at a set time fpr a set time, I’m enjoying it.. Then I stop. I don’t mean to stop, and it certainly wasn’t out of boredom—I enjoy reading, but.. I stop. And I don’t know why.

  • Oh, well, in that case, I don't know. I did the same thing when I was reading this awesome fantasy book, I loved it, but I stopped reading it for months until picking it up again. It also wasn't out of boredom... I wonder if there's a word for that. Weird lol?
