Just curious as to your collective thoughts on the matter.
Thanks!
Edit: Thanks for all of your responses. I think I’ll wait and see before buying the pass.

11 RepliesJust buy it. It costs 30 dollars for jeebus' sake.

I left my clan for many reasons and playing solo is fine if it's casual. Annual pass? Sounds like a anal-fuçk by Bungie/Activision. They have enough money.
-
6 RepliesNo. I left the clan I started and have been back to solo for a while. This game shits on anyone not in a Clan. That's first hand having been on both sides.
-
7 RepliesNope. Bungie wants to get rid of solo players without telling them to leave. Basically they are too cowardly to actually tell you to leave
-
I say no, because I have no plans to raid, and PvE gets boring quickly. Another horde mode? You can keep it. PVP is what I prefer, and I don’t need black armory for that. And yeah, I know the last word is coming January 29th, but I can play D1 and use TLW now. I also won’t purchase a yearly pass on principle. If Bungie breaks it into 3 separate $15 purchases, I would consider buying each one as they come available, after I know what I’m buying.
-
They added matchmaking for the horde mode which is a big selling point of black armory so I would say yes.
-
4 RepliesIt’s no different than anyone else buying it. Unless by solo you mean you completely refuse to play with anyone else at all, then I would still get it.
-
The only content that won’t be matchmade is the raid
-
....No
-
3 RepliesThe raid looks to be the only thing that you can’t do without friends or lfg.
-
solo player, NO... bungie doesn't want your kind in their game... look else where for a game, this is a heaping pile of crap now
-
1 ReplySo far no it’s like bungie has declared war on solo players
-
1 ReplyConsidering we haven't even seen what it has in store, much less the other two updates, 40 dollars is absurd unless you seriously somehow love the game enough to spend money on content you have no idea the quality it has. It's expecting too much for too little.
-
Dunno its not out yet....
-
If you raid, yes. If you like collecting EVERY weapon, yes. If you like thorny bows and the last word, yes.
-
I would yes because the forges will have match making l
-
I'm still on the wait and see. it's not like the annual pass won't be purchasable after Dec 4th. personally, with 40$ invested and a year of life left, I may pass.
-
2 RepliesAdds matchmaking for pinnacle activities, so yeah prob, also I’m laughing at all the salty solos who are saying bungie hates them in a TEAM BASED GAME ;)
-
The game in general gets really stale for solo players, imo. If I didn’t have friends that play, I wouldn’t either.
-
I'm getting it n all my buds are on PS4 rip. (But I prefer M+KB more than friends lol (I don't really ok stfu))
-
Solo player here. It will probably be worth it.
-
If u stay outta pvp it can be. But unfortunately pvp is the only thing to really do if ur solo and u will get crushed by teams with Luna's/not forgotten. So unfortunately no, I don't think u will enjoy black armory as a solo player. Nightfalls, raids and Gambit are all funner with a fireteam. Can't even do the raid without one. Good luck getting a LFG group to teach you. Without a fireteam u will have an average wait of 20 min in guided games for the night fall and u will loose 50+% of your gambits without a team. U can lfg for these activities but that gets old after about an hour. When I was a solo player crucible kept me playing. If it wasn't for work friends getting the game and doing PVE with me I would have left destiny in the middle of this season. I hate to tell u this because I love this game but as a solo player I'd hate to see u buy it then regret it later.
-
So player here... Damn right it is.
-
As a solo player, I will be
-
Yes it is worth it I’d recommend watching the vidoc

1 ReplyEdited by Darth-Bellicose: 11/28/2018 2:33:41 PMNo because everything in the game that is worth aquiriing has requirements attached to broken systems in the game like PVP. You are better off spending your money on a game like Red Dead Redemption II.
