So flipping stupid that all solo queue is paired up with a 6 stack that is also a clan. It wasn’t like it was randoms who just wanted to keep playing together.

1 ReplyWhenever it's searching for your team, just go to the Roster screen, you'll see if you get paired with a full stack before it loads and you can back out. That's what me and my friends do when solo. If we ever see that 5-6 stacked team, we press "back" and "cancel" quick and wait a bit before loading next match. Avoiding all stacks this way.

2 Repliesi played 3 games 2 were mercies. the only 1 that wasn't was a clan 6 stack. but they still lost. i was solo. my experience has not been the same as yours. so my advice if your not having fun take a brake. your only ment to win 50% of your games in a perfect world. thats bungies intent and that is what sbmm dose. it also adds alot of lag which is super nasty in IB anyways. for science keep a list of your next 20 games. (a 1000 would be better, but who could be frkd) if you win around 50% sbmm is working. and if you are under a 1 kd its working in your favour.

false, i always have fun as a single.
-
Hella frustrating, if I see something like that I'll just requeue and hope it all works out

1 ReplyAlso, matchmaking has zero consideration for skill. Better buckle up for a Shaxx “I’m calling it” 100-15 loss!

1 ReplyI find it odd that a community (and this may not be you, but overall) that is so anti-SBMM are also so angry about solo queue Matchmaking. Removing SBMM makes extreme blowouts more prevalent and it punishes solo players the most. With SBMM there will still be varied skill levels in most fireteam compositions, but when solo queuing, you're going to be matched with fireteams where not just other solo players in the game but the best player on an opposing fireteam is going to be closer to your skill level. The other aspect of solo queuing I find really odd is that no one who play solo use game chat. Talking to your teammates would instantly negate most enemy fireteam advantage. Since D2's been out I've mostly PvP'd solo. I've been opted in to chat the entire time and only once has another player joined the game chat.

Agreed this is stupid. Groups of six should only be matched with groups of 3 or more.
-
Once upon a time there was a playlist accessible only to solo players...
-
Not only that, if you win they separate YOUR team but the sweaty group gets to keep going.
-
Apparently it is, because you all still play
-
Bungie doesn't care about single people.
-
It’s fun when you actually beat them lol
-
There needs to be skill consideration in matchmaking.
-
Freelance 6v6 should come back
-
If you're talking about iron banner, then 6 stacks don't exist for stats, everyones pretty bad. Everyone is stacking light now lol.
-
Maybe it's just me, but I don't have fun on either side of that. It's never good to get stomped, but it's also REALLY boring to be just SO much more coordinated and better than the other team that you spawn lock them and win by like 70 or more. It's like being proud of killing a bunch of thrall.

You are in a clan. So you’re saying you’ve never bothered to go into the crucible with your clan mates ? Or by chance is that only ok when you do it & not others ? You win some you lose some that’s just the way goes regardless of who you’re going up against.
-
Unless they are 6 individual masochists who happen to have been matched up together then their experience is likely orgasmic. Otherwise, yeah, it sucks donkey wang.

2 RepliesI enjoy beating 6 stacks when I'm solo

2 RepliesThis isn’t a solo game ! But with that said I feel your pain I’m a clan leader and usually always can run with a 6 stack but there are plenty times I go in solo and it’s annoying but I enjoy the challenge of facing a 6 stack but for average players I say they bring back the Freelance PvP playlist so all solo players can have a fair chance why not
-
Sometimes. There are times that 6 stack just sucks. You just never know sometimes
-
I play alot better with 6Rv6P... Just adapt and play smarter
-
Yeah its annoying, its even worse when the enemy team sees you as the biggest threat if you are carrying your team. Ive had games where I go against a full stack and had over 40 kills while the solo player in second got like 20 kills. The reason it sucks to carry is that the 6 stack usually starts targeting you when you are doing really good. Nothing is more annoying than being focused by 6 people constantly, but I gotta say beating them is really satisfying
