I tried it yesterday as a 536 (would have been at least 560 if not for bungie mistakes)... Anyway, it sucked. A collosal waste of time. Having a group of 530's and 540's did virtually no DAMAGE to the first boss and everyone died too quickly. I'm not going back until I'm 550.
The bigger issue is how Bungie allowed exploiters to become "world's first" while not fixing the leveling issue for everyone playing the game properly. They should have postponed the raid.

Grind for the Horror Story, it instantly gave me a nearly unfair advantage. It is 600 light, and as long as you are level 50 you can use it

With a bit of RNG on your side and patience you should have been able to reach pl 540+, even 550. No glitch required.

Then you wont make it to 550+ But the excuse I have other things in life is perfectly valid, but it means that you wont be able to make it as far as others who spent much more time grinding, and thats perfectly fine and acceptable since thats what grinding is about. you see, if you have the time you should have been able to make it to 540+. Now, if you dont have the time because of whatever reason (kids, job, job+kids, or whatever) then that fine as well, it will just take a couple of weeks longer. These streamers/youtubers have nothing else to do, the spent 15-20 hours a day just grinding, and yet, people who spend less than half that time think is not fair... weird

The "exploiters" were still underleveled by at least 20 light in the latter half of the raid. They had sword emblem enemies, so did the none exploiters. The playing field was pretty equal. Regardless of the prime engram exploit, they're damn good players and deserve it. I for one, was rooting for Datto's team, but they choked.

If you can’t get the first boss with only 535 or 540 you are doing something wrong.

What cool guns? people are using the EP shotgun, sleeper/whisper and y1 handcannons? if you dont have them by now well then thats another thing.

i know. I'm disabled and virtually bed ridden. I have too much tome to play the game. The first 7 days i had over 100 hours in the DLC and was already screwed out of 60 powerful engrams. I know how to level a guardian. the count is much more now. I've I gained 4 light yesterday by grinding 10 hours for prime engrams and exotics. ttrust me I definitely would have been.I'm 539, 38 and 35 so those missing engrams would defintely have put me there.
