A P.S.A. To Strike Runners (ABSOLUTELY READ)
Listen, I love running strikes with strangers and adapting to everyone's strengths and weaknesses. But one weakness we all have in common is not using the maximum mechanics to our advantage. If you guardians didn't know they removed three of coins from Xur. But maybe what you didn't know is Fireteam Medallions are three of coins on steroids. Not only does this bad boy stack 3xs, it MASSIVELY increases your chances of obtaining exotics. I received Lord of Wolves and the new Warlock chest piece yesterday. So please guys, we are hurting ourselves here by not popping them. You can find them on the second page of the Eververse store at a super cheap price and they last 4 hours regardless of how many exotics you pick up.

Not sure they "Massively increase the chance of exotics", been popping these all the time and have only received one exotic whilst leveling my Titan, nothing yet on my second guardian.

I got 2 exotics in 3 strikes (the only 2 I’ve got by the way) without using fireteam medallions. So my luck is as good as (maybe better than) yours without them. It’s probably just a coincidence. If there was anything to make getting exotics easier it would have been removed before they spent time fixing the weekly reset.

Yeah any time i'm touching strikes I pop my token. They are dirt cheap. Even if you've never spent on this game with the new daily bounties it's so easy to have them up. I'm pretty much the only person who seems to use them though.

Thank god im not the only one using medallions anymore, it seems like no one used medallions at all, their cheap as hell, i usually always have one running. Theirs liturally no excuse to not have one on if you run a lot of strikes

3 RepliesI use the medallions non stop, when I'm 10 mins away from expiring I go ahead and pop another, they're so cheap I keep around 50 on my character most of the time, it's really unfortunate that more people arent mindful of these things, popping a medallion is one of the first things I do when I log on.

You know what... Thanks for the reminder. I rarely use them, and never with randoms, but it couldn't hurt regardless of whether or not they affect exotic drop rates.

Every single time I log on I use them. Whether it’s for an hour or four hours. I’ve gotten maybe 3-4 exotics total since release but nonetheless I use them all the time. You got nothing to lose and everything to gain.
