Is Borderlands worth it?
Should I buy Borderlands in 2018. I’ve been looking into it recently as it caught my eye. Should I buy The handsome collection in. Ik the game is kinda old but it looks interesting

BUY IT. It’s one of the best games everrrrr. You can play it at your own pace. It’s ages very well. There’s so much diversity in play style. The Handsome Collextion is such a good deal. Two games with all there DLC. And there is a lot of DLC.

Its great, 2 is arguably the best and if you can find some friends to play on it with you, do it. Its a hoot and fun. DLCs are all pretty good besides the headhunters but its fun.

13 RepliesThe Borderlands series is kind of the "meh" side, as far as role-playing games go. There's endless amounts of loot, hordes of challenging enemies to face, lots of explosions (and blood), and of course you can play the games cooperatively. They're not bad games to play, however they're not sensational either. The stories are blah, the characters are forgettable, the visual and sound design is not at the top of any list, and mostly Borderlands won't blow you away... if you're actually looking for a game that will, by comparison.

Borderlands 2 with all its DLC is so cheap and its so much fun. Probably one of the best scripts in any game I've played.

Yes. I constantly go back to playing Borderlands. Only 2 but that because I actually did everything you could do in Borderlands 1. Borderlands 2 on the other hand I always find myself finishing the main game but I have yet to delve into any of its DLC despite having owned on 360 when it was first released and repurchasing it on the One with the Handsome Collection. I could careless to ever touch the Pre-Sequel. I just felt like it should have been DLC as well personally. Nothing against 2K Australlia.

Are you [b]freakin'[/b] serious? Borderlands is what Destiny (and by extension Destiny 2) [b]wishes[/b] it could be. The shader cell style is weird compared to Destiny admittedly, but it's also part of it's charm and what differentiates it from everything around it.

Probably one of my top 3 games for sure. I highly recommend Borderlands 2 over the first one and TPS. But they're all good games.

Man have you been missing out. The Borderlands franchise in general is one of the best loot shooters ever. Destiny wishes it could be Borderlands. Amazing campaign! As far as online matchmaking, you'll find it easier to find people once you've started your True Vaulthunter and Ultimate Vaulthunter playthroughs. TVHM and UVHM are basically Borderlands version of "New Game+".

The humor can be a bit off at times and gunplay isn't anything revolutionary, but it's a pretty fun experience with a lot of memorable characters. I personally fell out of it but I would recommend the game to others

If you like that kind game of game then yes. I go back every now and then and play through the story. Farming is pretty big but you might be able to find someone to give you good gear from dupes

Borderlands2 was one of my favorite games ever made the prequel I didn't care for I'd say yes it's worth it
