Considerations about the DLCs and future plans

About the story: again, a big disappointment. The story of the base game was exciting, which left us waiting for more, especially knowing that the next DLC would bring us Osiris. But when it was released, the guy who we thought that had all the answers from D1 was, in fact, an arrogant jerk. Okay, DLC 2 could save the plot, since we'd finally come across Rasputin and, perhaps, secrets of the Golden Age and the Great Collapse would be unraveled. Again, a weak campaign with a meaningless story. Both Osiris and Ana Bray have been weak characters and the campaign is so short that it is disappointing. It's a pity, because the two bosses had the potential to have their own raids and ended up underappreciated. About progression: I think it was a big mistake to slow down the progression of the power level, simply to "extend the life" of this expansion. It's very frustrating to come across end-game activities such as raids and escalation protocol, with a level far above os ours, even if you've fulfilled all the milestones of the week and there's no way to progress further before the weekly reset. I understand that you want to keep the players interested, but that's not the way. Remember that many of us no longer have so many friends to play together and help us with the progression, since the smartest ones left the game after realizing this lack of content. Some of us stayed because we love the game, but it seems we haven't been rewarded for it. And remember that searching for strangers in the recruiting forum is not always an option for many os us, especially for those who do not speak or do not want to speak English. Even so, playing with strangers isn't the same thing, because the majority os people in the fórum want to do it fast and have no patiance to try one, two, three of fifty times the same activity and end-up quiting. What I mean is that this things didn't happen in the old days. Even if you were weak, you would be able to join with 2 more friends to do a Prision of the elders, Oryx runes or Archon's forge. Destiny 2 needs end-game activities beyond raid and trials, which requires a certain dedication and only those most voracious players end up doing it. For example, progression could be easier (with heroic assaults, prestige nightfall and iron flag, for example) but there could be higher-level bosses in specific lost sectors each week. Bosses on the same level as the raid, which would give loots rewarding players, with high level and a chance to come exotics. A simple change that would surely keep many players interested for months. The next DLC in September will have to be really good if you want to bring the players back. A good story, a new subclass, a new enemy, something like that. Otherwise, I'll join the smart ones who quit the game.
