Although many people want more content in the game (including me) would it not be better to just remove this strike from the playlist ? I don't think i've heard one person say it's their favourite & as title states the majority of the time I & many others spawn into it i just pull out ghost & leave stranding guardians to fend for themselves until somebody else joins . Also it's annoying for people doing stuff around the Failsafe area having Pikes & other enemies spawning .

I think if you replaced the shanks with sniper vandals it would be fun but still offer a good challenge.

1 ReplyThe only reason why people leave is because that shit bag disappears all the time
-
4 RepliesUm you do know D1 had the same strike. The sunless cell if I believe that’s its name. Just because it’s fallen instead of hive doesn’t make it different
-
Its my favorite, but the boss goes immune too much.
-
1 ReplyI always wave before I leave.
-
I always wished it just sent you to the beginning of the nightfall instead of back to orbit
-
Yep! Why oh why they couldn’t come up with some interesting mechanics in that fight.
-
Don't have to do the strike of you don't play the shitty game
-
There's strikes other than the ones on Mercury? Wow, you learn something new every day.
-
The rest of the strike is fine, it's just that stupid boss fight. I can see it being a decent strike if bungie made some improvements (namely things like not making him dissapear and become invincible)
-
It's literally one of the best strikes in D1 (alah-kul) but much worse
-
1 ReplyThere are like 2 good strikes in the entire game. Curse of osiris ones are garbage, and so is Exodus Down. Zahn and The Vex one are good. Pyramidion is OK
-
It depends on who I’m playing with, if I’m with people who skip it immediately or if I’m with a group that’s willing to persevere with it. It should noted that I absolutely refuse to do this Strike more than once a day. If it comes up twice ( or more ) while I’m in the Strike playlist, I’ll skip it automatically.

2 RepliesI wanted to vote yes because... Yes, it would not be better to remove the strike. I wanted to vote no because... I felt like you are actually asking if the strike should be removed. I couldn't vote for the third option because I never leave it and go back to orbit. Didn't vote.

It’s D2’s version of the Sunless Cell except it’s not as engaging at the boss fight. The Fallen boss doesn’t seem to stay visible long enough to psychologically feel like the players are making progress towards defeating him. It doesn’t have a defining gimmick that seems unique; it’s not a pitch black room lit by the bioluminescence of the enemies but shanks electrifying the floor which very rarely occurs where the players make their stand. The boss seems to lack a more determinate was of uncloaking him either by using the electrified floor against him or by disabling the electrical field to remove his advantage.

It’s horrible but there aren’t enough strikes as it is...maybe remove it after new DLC adds more strikes....
-
i get a mini seizure everytime i get this strike... i just pop back to orbit. useless for me.
-
2 RepliesNah, keep it in...
-
I actually want to punch the man who came up with that boss. Sweet Jesus.
-
I don't love it, but even D1's most plain boss was twice the size of itself.
-
1 ReplyI have left this strike many times. Though the last week I've stayed a few times...why does this strike repeat for me so much??
-
What is your poll question?
-
3 RepliesIt's still removed from Nightfall rotation, aint it?
-
Why scrap the whole thing? Just make it enjoyable. Sure it will take some extra work, but it seems like a waste to throw away a completely functional strike.
-
2 RepliesOnce I spawned into an Exodus Crash strike midway through and was the only guardian there. Then it backfilled two more peeps. Weeeeird.
-
1 ReplyIt's not the strike itself. It's the boss. Everyone I play with always has that "ahhhh, man" response everytime we spawn in next to those pikes, though. Bungie just needs to make the boss less annoying.
