does June die in reach (spoiler if not played campaign yet )
i have finished the campaign in reach and i seem to mis if June dies it never shows or tells you because after you give commander keys cortana it shows Emile get stabbed by the elite and then you go get on the mac cannon and help the piller of atom escape.

He survives and after escorting Halsey he starts recruiting soildiers to become Spartans. Jun was the one to recruit buck.

6 Replieswere was master chief during reach (this is my first halo game so i dont know the story that well i have plade all the rest of the games but i didnt pay attention that well to the story i was like 8 at the time so it was just mindles vilonce to me at the time)

3 RepliesJudging by the ending cutscenes, I would have to say that he is still alive because Dr. Halsey is narrating at the end. Jun was last seen protecting Halsey, and because the game leads us to believe that Halsey survived Reach, Jun would most likely have survived too.

1 ReplyJun does die. He is suposed to escort Halsey to Castle Base (not mentioned in the campaign) and when red team Spartans(SPARTAN-II's) rendezvous at the base Jun was nowhere to be found. [Edited on 10.29.2011 9:54 AM PDT]

Actually,all the Spartans you see on Lone Wolf are randomly generated. Many people claim to see Jun,however as I said it is randomly generated.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet or not, but if you've read "First Strike" by Eric Nylund, Jun was never mentioned when Master Chief went to rescue Dr. Halsey and some surviving Spartan-II's from some mines under Castle Base. So, I honestly don't think Jun made it, or he managed to escape with some ODST possibly? But in the book, he isn't present when Dr. Halsey is at sword base. However, this could also be due to the fact that the book came out before anybody even knew that Bungie would come out with Halo: Reach.

There is a rumor going around that jun will reappear in halo 4 as possibly an easter egg. He flies off in a pelican with halsey and halsy is in halo 4 so they say you can see him

Jun escorts Dr. Halsey to CASTLE base. I assume that Jun accompanied her along with the remaining spartans. It says that she went to Onyx and after the battle (with the forerunner sentinels?) on Onyx, She and the remaining spartans (along with some others like Chief Mendez) have been trapped in the shield world and haven't been saved since. "Dr. Halsey and Kelly eventually arrived at Onyx, while reuniting with SCPO Mendez and eventually her remaining SPARTAN-II's and the SPARTAN-III's. She helped decipher the mystery of the planet. At first, she tried to maintain secrecy about her intentions out of habit, until Kurt-051 confronted her about it. She admitted that she was not actually looking for weapons, but rather the secret Forerunner Shield World ,which she believed to be equivalent to a bomb shelter, and would be capable of keeping the remaining Spartans safe to evade all current war and let them live to fight another day. Her relative expertise with Forerunner technology was vital to the survival of the UNSC forces on the planet. At the end of the battle, she, along with Mendez, Blue Team, and the Spartan-III survivors, found herself inside the Shield World, which she believed was actually a Micro Dyson Sphere. i agree that was the ship they were on, that is clearly jun's body, bungie probably meant during the story Jun was still alive but then after the story technically stops(after 6 dies) then he dies, look at his armor no other spartan has it EXACTLY like that! And the missing thing, the ship was shot down nobody was around if there was anyone(besides the covenent) left on Reach at all, which means no one saw the ship go down, no one was scanning the area or anything, basically they flu threw a dead part of the planet and died. Think if someone died in a desert in the middle of nowhere, sure he died there but no one knows who it could be after every thing is gone except a few pieces of bone. No ID no record. Bottom line Jun is Dead, he was shot down was killed protecting the doctor, he died and all witnesses are dead to and no one knew where they went, also if it was a memorial statue then why would he be on it, only if he died in battle or was killed by the enemy. And one last thing for people who thinks hes the Chief, they sound nothing alike, jun is too short and he is a sniper expert and John has a background! IMPOSSIBLE to be Jun!!!! Sorry this is so long.
