Someone made a mistake

So, I'm not even sure where to start. My main gamertag is Xtrelevated, and I love Destiny 1 and 2. I usually spend every second of free time I can get to play. I'd say over 5000 hours total. I've gone flawless over 100 times easily between both games. Deleted and re-leveled accounts to push more flawlesses per week. I've bought every expansion. I've bought hundreds of dollars worth of silver. I genuinely LOVE Destiny. Last weekend, I did what I always do and played some trials. In fact, I was on a pretty sick win streak with some other try hards. Monday night after work, I got on to try to reach 500wins.... Only to find out I was banned. Unfortunately, I have no clue as to how or why this could have even happened. The worst things I've ever done is teabag relentlessly and Ive even stooped to respond to negative messages negatively sometimes. I'm not exactly sure if anyone can help me, but I'm desperately looking for answers. Why is all my trials gear locked? Why right before an expansion am I being banned for such a minor offense? Is that even why I was banned? Was there a mistake and I was banned without actual reason? I am beyond crippled re-leveling this new account and trying to establish enough reasons to keep playing. I'm genuinely concerned that I was banned by accident or for false reports. All I know, is if this is actually punishment for communication/teabagging relative offenses and not a mistake... I regret ever committing myself this much to something I thought was my best escape from reality. I realize there are more important issues needing attention from the next expansion that have emerged. I just pray something is said or done to help calm my rage. I have also read the part about NO APPEALS in regards to bans. In this case, that seems beyond ludicrous. In short, I felt and still feel sick to my stomach. I want my account back, but more so all the gear I've busted my ass through sleepless nights to attain. In lieu of a better comparison, I just got sentenced by a judge for manslaughter when I simply had 2 grams of marijuana.

  • Hello guardian, https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929 Your trials gear is no longer accessible because a ban or restriction has been placed on your account and Bungie can restrict the use of gear from activities players have been restricted from. As far as Bungie providing insight on your ban, Bungie policies state that they do not discuss bans or restrictions. More information can be found in the posted link.

  • You are correct. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bungie will not discuss account bans or restrictions. The only thing you can do is wait it out. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929

  • Bungie, you can't just ban your players without giving reason because it leads to frustration and confusion on the other end. You have an avatar of a guy getting tea bagged on your forums and if that isn't the offense, well, there really isn't another being made here. You can't just unjustly ban your most dedicated players on a game that's slowly dwindling because what do you have left if they all leave? Nothing, and nobody to buy your products. Stop the unjust bans.
