Destiny 2 is great.
I sure see a lot of bitching out there. I love this game. Lots of new coming out soon. Lots to do. One of the best games of all time.

Since we were all able to see other, better games, we're comparing D2 to other games. Personally, as a D1 vet, I want to love this game. But as a gamer who has played Breath of the Wild, Fire Emblem Echoes, New Super Mario Bros. U, replayed Arkham Asylum and City, and replayed the entire BioShock series during D1's downtime, I just can't bring myself to like this game.

I think Destiny is a great game - but the shallow loot pool, dumbed -down subclass and other elements token economy, no gun or armor rolls, no way to replay story or strikes. The crucible has been fun in this state, But the lack of dedicated servers means I am still facing lag, being shot through walls and shooting invincible people in the head. The Leviathan raid is OK , with good loot. But a prestige mode that is not worth doing for shaders and an emblem? These are all huge problems. That's why I think, for many, the game got stale quick.

1 ReplyNot sure why people are being salty tbh. Destiny 2 has one of the best scifi moments in a game, shooting down the tube on the Almighty. I level all three characters to 20, introduced another person to Destiny an avid warcrafter whos never played console games before, and she loves it. One of the biggest problems in gaming right now is not the the games, its the people, expect too much, too easy, too fast and for basically free. I've already had my moneys worth out of game, and I'm looking forward to the expansions. Something for the butthurt, /emote Salty

Yes. By far one of the greatest games that has ever graced this Earth. It revolutionized gaming just as much as Halo 2 did. It's a masterpiece up there with such games like Final Fantasy VII, The Last Of Us, and The Witcher 3. It wipes its ass with all of the incomplete shitty games of this year, and anyone who disagrees with my opinion is a shit spewing no good mouth breathing basement dwelling freeloading manchild who's still breasted by his dad.
