Exactly what happend to me as well. I asked Blizzard Support about it and they said, if I was still banned I wouldn't even be able to purchase the game at all. So I guess they did reset the bans.

  • Well I actually bought it with a brand new account. During the beta I tied redownloading it again with another account. It let me get all the way to “press x to play”. When I started it, then I got a message saying my device was banned. Fast forward to now, I bought it with a third account with no issues, but I won’t know if I can still use my computer until I try to log in.

  • Damn, glad I got my new Ryzen machine in the mean time so I def wont have to face a machine ban.
