Then how can you support a travel ban?
How can you not support the free travel of people across borders?
How can you support the removal of privacy laws while on the internet?
How can you support the removal of net neutrality, something that ensures all sites and individuals are free to browse as they please without paying for an "upgrade"?
How can you support America being the police force of the world?
there are more questions, but I didn't want this to go on forever
Edit:
If you believe in freedom you should also support abortion and the parent's right to choose.
You should support that it is someone's inalienable right to desecrate a flag.
It is anyone's right to fly a confederate flag.
It is also anyone's right to choose whether they will stand or take part in the pledge/national anthem.
If you people claim to "support the concept of freedom", then why are you so willing to disregard the concept when it's something you don't like?

1 Reply"Then how can you support a travel ban?" Doesnt affect americans freedom.. "How can you not support the free travel of people across borders? " You dont understand borders, there not new and that dont contradict freedom.. "How can you support the removal of privacy laws while on the internet?" i dont but obama did.. "How can you support the removal of net neutrality, something that ensures all sites and individuals are free to browse as they please without paying for an "upgrade"? " This is just funny. Net neutrality is a corporatist position mainly pushed by big buissness like google and netflix so they can maintain there "fast lanes" without having to pay more and they have done a great job suckering people like you into shilling it for them. "How can you support America being the police force of the world?" I dont. "If you believe in freedom you should also support abortion and the parent's right to choose. " Lol may as well just say if you believe in freedom you should be liberal. Im pro choice but abortion is a horrible practice only taken by the desperate and the degenerate, something is wrong with you if you enthusiastically support snuffing out babies. And does a parents right to chose include a mans right to chose? Women dont make babies themselves. "You should support that it is someone's inalienable right to desecrate a flag." They can but that doesnt mean there not an asshole. "It is anyone's right to fly a confederate flag. It is also anyone's right to choose whether they will stand or take part in the pledge/national anthem." It is but again that doesnt mean they arent an asshole or immune to having others point that out to them. "If you people claim to "support the concept of freedom", then why are you so willing to disregard the concept when it's something you don't like?" Ya mean like when people try to silence others in the name of stoping "hate speech" or repeal the 2nd to curb gun violence?

3 RepliesBecause freedom is lost when someone dies from a suicide bomber for example. And I respect the freedom of the child to live and not be killed from abortion.

1 ReplyOh I know, lets legalize murder, -blam!-, and theft. After all, if we ban anything at all, we are not truly free

1 ReplyIf you believe in the concept of freedom, how can you be intolerant of other people's concepts of freedom?

Then how can you support a travel ban?
I don't
How can you not support the free travel of people across borders?
I do as long as there are correct safety measures.
How can you support the removal of privacy laws while on the internet?
I think that those laws should stay unless there is a proper warrant to do so.
How can you support the removal of net neutrality, something that ensures all sites and individuals are free to browse as they please without paying for an "upgrade"?
I honestly didn't know this was even a thing...
How can you support America being the police force of the world?
I don't see what is wrong with stopping bad people from doing bad things in other countries.
Edit: If you believe in freedom you should also support abortion and the parent's right to choose.
So because I believe in freedom I should give people the option to kill another human being? So I guess that baby doesn't get the freedom to live.
You should support that it is someone's inalienable right to desecrate a flag.
It's disrespectful to the people who fight for your life everyday, and honestly makes you look like a dumbass.
It is anyone's right to fly a confederate flag.
Would you let someone fly a 1945 -godwinslaw!- party flag?
It is also anyone's right to choose whether they will stand or take part in the pledge/national anthem.
Doing the pledge everyday I do think is stupid, because there is really no need to do the pledge more than one in a person's lifetime, but for sure the anthem. It has to do with what the price represents, and that's the people who fight for your freedom.
If you people claim to "support the concept of freedom", then why are you so willing to disregard the concept when it's something you don't like?
I mean I don't support things that are inhumane/respectful, so I mean unless you like to be disrespectful or inhumane, I don't see why you would have problems with these views.

Ahhh. I'm sick of this. I've spent too much time discussing immigration, travel bans, gun rights, etc. with the people I actually give a damn about. So I'll leave this alone. ~ Making America Great Again ~

My issue is how in the land of the free can you go to jail for growing a plant or posessing its fruit?

1 ReplyPretty much. There are a lot of hypocritical conservatives in the world today, especially in the US.

As long as those freedoms don't harm others I agree

Then how can you support a travel ban?
Because there are people who don't share our values and want us dead. It's not even a racial issue it's a religious one and only with one specific religion in particular and not even all the countries either. Just 6 and it's the poor ones. Why because they're the most terror prone. Yes I realize Saudi Arabia is not one of them and yes I realize they caused 9/11 and no I'm obviously not happy about it. However they have money and oil and we're in debt so we can't exactly kick them to the curb. Money makes the world go round.
How can you not support the free travel of people across borders?
I support anyone who shares our values and wants to make society here better. As long as they do that, they're welcome in my book. But we gotta apply some discretion here and vet out the bad people. Not everyone is a good person this is just reality. We should be doing everything in our power to keep our existing citizens safe first. Some people will slip through the cracks sure but that's no excuse for not having at least some security. It just makes sense.
How can you support the removal of privacy laws while on the internet?
Im with you on this one it does suck but there's ways to fight it. VPNs and TOR is probably the most effective right now.
How can you support the removal of net neutrality, something that ensures all sites and individuals are free to browse as they please without paying for an "upgrade"?
Again I'm not for this but we can fight it. Check out r/netneutrality. People have posted some interesting ideas such as gathering enough shares of Comcast to where we can make the decisions for them and reverse what they're about to do. It's going to cost around 100 billion and I don't know if the 50% actually has that between them. Worst case scenario, I could see USB dead drop communities being a thing. Idk it's all speculation until it actually happens.
How can you support America being the police force of the world?
I don't but at this point do you think any other country would be better at world police than us? I doubt it. Also if we weren't the world police, another country would be and I don't know how that would be, could be good or bad depending on the country. But odds are it would be China or Russia and well... I don't think I'd want them policing the world and I don't think you would either.
Edit: If you believe in freedom you should also support abortion and the parent's right to choose.
Im begrudgingly pro choice, which means I understand why it should be legal but I think it's reprehensible and irresponsible and we shouldn't have this zero -blam!-s given attitude about them. We should be encouraging them as a last resort not a casual means of birth control.
You should support that it is someone's inalienable right to desecrate a flag.
I acknowledge it's their right I'm also going to think less of that person and not help them in any form or fashion as that is MY right.
It is anyone's right to fly a confederate flag.
it is.
It is also anyone's right to choose whether they will stand or take part in the pledge/national anthem.
if you hate this country because of what Bush did in his presidency then I totally understand (except not really because it was just him and some cronies it's not like the entire government body was in on his war crimes) but at least acknowledge that people died so you can live one of the best lives in the present day world. Even the poorest American is doing better than the poor in Africa so at least be grateful for what you have.
If you people claim to "support the concept of freedom", then why are you so willing to disregard the concept when it's something you don't like?

I do agree some Establishment republicans play fast and loose but the same can be said for authoritarian leftists and sjws running universities and kicking out white people because they exist. It's just certain individuals that we dumbasses keep voting in.
5 RepliesTotal freedom is called anarchy. You cannot pick certain categories of what we call freedom and use them to further your agenda. You want freedom go to Syria then. You can do whatever you want there. America was founded on the beliefs of freedom and equality. Sadly those beliefs have been twisted and used by politicians into making America into a 2 party country. Democrats and Republicans. It's all about power and money now. So to control us they divide us. We will never be free until we all unite as one country. Sadly that probably will not be seen in our lifetime.
-
The republican party wasnt always a freakshow. Over time to stay competitive they had to bring evangelicals, who historically loathed politics into their tent. This required adding anti abortion, birth control, gays, other religions/atheism, ect. to the platform.

1 ReplyAccording to you, if we believe in freedom, then we must legalize murder and hate crimes.

I support the travel ban and tight borders because we have a ton of problems here already. We already have people here allegedly performing hate crimes against minorities. I say we find those bastards and charge them before putting more innocent people in front of them to attack. When we have bipartisan support to bring them in, and those coming in are willing to properly assimilate, and not band together and creating those no-go zones we see in Europe, I am more than happy to welcome them in.

5 RepliesEdited by DELIVER ME MEMES: 5/28/2017 4:38:26 AMknow how america has a huge military budget? it would be able to shrink drastically if we didn't subsidize the defense of other nations so that they don't need a military. that's why they can get away with small military budgets and we can't.

Freedom without rules is chaos, which is welcomed by the weak until it's soaked in their blood. I don't know why that came to my mind. Never even thought about it before... wonder which voice made that one up.

*sees title* Nope ;D

I believe in freedom, until someone else's actions infringe upon someone's freedom. i.e. terrorism, or the murdering of children.
Begone with the thunderclap
