Let's get this out of the way. I don't support some of the desisions made for D2
P2P
But I'm giving Bungie the benefit of the doubt. The game looks good. The gunplay still looks smooth af even at 30fps. PvP is primary based supported by abilities and power weapons, so it won't be a fest of OHK weapons and abilities.
I'm crossing my fingers that there's a good story. I hope Ghual is just as badass as Oryx was in Regicide. I hope most exotics come from adventure quests to make it feel like a proper RPG.
Most of all I just hope people won't as toxic then. Give the game a chance. If you don't like it remember GameStop a return policy. If the game turns out to be trash in the beta than we can all whine about it together.
Just my little rant.

6 Replies3+ years at 30 fps is disapointing, Really don't want to play on PC and spend $1000 - $2000 bucks just for D2 but herd D2 @ 60 is godly. If Project Scorpio has a chance of running this game at 60 then let it! Bungie then gets my money

4 RepliesI stopped after year 2. Hung around the forums to see if enough would happen to pull me back in by Destiny 2. Not feeling it. But to each their own. As much as I am disappointed by Bungie, others will be pleased. And that's fine. The world would be a boring place if everyone liked the same thing.

1 ReplyMost people's problem:
its like destiny 1
What i like about it
its like destiny 1
I think it'll be great.

2 RepliesI'm pretty glad that stickies no longer one shot.

12 RepliesOnly one thing I don't agree with is the exotics. They should be EXOTIC again. Hard to obtain but worth it. Like in year 1. In the first week when barely anyone had enough strange coins to buy stuff from xur. Or hoping to high hell that you would be blessed by RNGesus that you would get lucky from a raid chest or boss. 3 of coins completely ruined exotics in destiny. Personal opinion.

Has anyone ever played unga bunga?

How about 3/4

5 RepliesMight be full bad

1 ReplyPreplays look like call of duty more than destiny
-
My single biggest concern is that they'll gut the customization of subclasses with their "attunement" system. I much prefer being able to select my perks that best fit my playstyle, not "attunements" that bungie picks for me.

6 Repliesthe first part of destiny 2 will most likely go like vanilla destiny then build over the next 3 years after release (that seems to be their way of building a game over time), year 1 will have a solid starter raid (like the vault) year 2 will have a short but exciting raid (like crota or taken kings raid) and year 3 will gain a tough and long winded raid (like wrath of the machine).

The "Like" posts are back again xD

3 RepliesLike if you hope Regular_Gamer101 will actually complete a raid and log more than 10 minutes of play time in Destiny 2.
-
I'm going to play it regardless.

Borrowing this from a post buried down the bottom... Bungies new slogan: Destiny 2 - it's not half bad.
-
Stop asking for likes My rant is over now

Will I play it? Yeah, and I'll be borderline addicted. Is it almost everything I wanted? Absolutely. Am I disappointed with some of the choices? No doubt.

39 RepliesNo dedicated servers. TTK seems rather low. Subclasses removed, including my favourite defender, to my understanding. Only 30FPS on console, despite other games being capable of 60FPS already. That isn't to say I won't play it religiously, because I most likely will put at least 500 hours in, although perhaps not the 2000 i put into the original. The new classes look interesting, without doubt, and I'm intrigued about how they intend to balance the elemental primaries and their capabilities to do increased damage to supers. I just sincerely hope that they don't make the awful mistake of building a massive paywall like they did in both of the recent expansions. If i pay for something like the equivalent of Iron Banner in the original game, what greedy blight on the game can decide to take that away from everyone, and force them to pay for expansions to get that content, which was already paid for in full? Sadly, with the season pass already being revealed, it looks like that trend is, without a doubt, going to continue. There are other games where you don't have to put up with that pathetic practise, so I might just wait until we see what the expansions change before buying the original game.

Like if you think the fact that this post was made is a sure way of telling that D2 is gonna be half bad.

2 RepliesThe two obvious complaints are 60fps and dedicated servers. For 60fps, the bigger issue is the tick rate. If the tick rate for consoles isn't being increased, 60fps is worthless. I am MUCH more concerned that the tick rate is staying at 30 than not having 60fps. Dedicated servers is a bummer. But, I can see the idea that it isn't worth investing in the infrastructure without knowing how the new PvP truly plays.

2 RepliesOnly half good is still half bad.
-
No dedicated server for console, 30 fps, 4vs4 pvp... I will stay in destiny 1, due to lack of real improvements.
-
1 ReplyI agree with everything you said but the exotic part, Destiny to me isn't a game that I like to play through and be done with, and if exotics are given out through "adventures or quests but no RNG then it will be one of those games, if it wasn't for Rng everyone would have everything in the game within a month then there would be nothing left to chase after. For me I'd like to see it go back to year 1 where when you got something to drop you were actually excited that you got lucky with it and it kept you coming back for more.

3 RepliesRemember, games like World of Warcraft didn't start amazing. They started out as fun and they worked their way to become amazing. Give it time. Stop expecting everything to be shipped in the disc. A game like Destiny was never meant to be ready and and done altogether. It NEEDS updates. It Needs expansion.
