1) HUD ON: Displays ALL info
2) HUD OFF: Hides ALL info
3) REALISTIC MODE: Displays all Gaurdian info, Hides all ENEMY info.
I'd love to not see emeny health bars or '6000, 6000, 6000' every time I shoot a bad guy AND still be able to see my map, ammo, health, and super bar. A HUD option to hide the stuff you don't want/need to see and at the same time display the stuff you need to see would be awesome!

Yes! Please add options to set the hud to a pop-up mode. Additionally a mode that permanently hides the hud and reticle while allowing objectives/interactions would be nice.

for screenshots for my PS4, we can remove HUD elements, that's nice, but please...let me hide my gun as well

Brilliant idea, I hope something like this is in the game.

If I may, I would include the separate parts of the HUD (such as health, ammo, abilities, crosshair, effects) so I could play Destiny 2 with no health counter, no wispy effects when you enter a respawn restricted area and no ammo so I could feel like I don't have to worry about how much I have left. The wispy effects always bothered me when I was going to shoulder charge an enemy and entering a respawn restricted area at the same time because I didn't know when I was going to be ready to charge. One more thing, maybe they should include your right arm glowing orange=blue=purple when your melee energy is replenished and your left arm glows when your grenade charges so you don't have to be distracted by looking at your charges. This could prove more immersive.

Battlefield has some of the best settings for personalizing your HUD. I wouldn't mind that scale of HUD customization come to Destiny.

3 RepliesEdited by RPColten: 5/10/2017 9:56:58 PMWhy not go one step further and have a drop-down list of options for everything? Show/Hide: *Radar *health bar enemy health bars *weapon/ammo counter display (make use of those magazine ammo-counters built into weapons) *ability cooldown bars *enemy stats/levels *damage numbers I always like it when the option is there to customize just how much information the HUD shows. More power to the user.

And HUD position. Currently the HUD isn't really visible in PSVR cinema mode, large screen. I imagine the PSVR specific mode of Destiny 2 will have some adaption for this.

I like that idea

I like this. My hud is burning my TV because it's so bold and is pretty much always in use. I know there's a dimmer option but it doesn't super dim it. If it could go further that would be cool.
