Icebreaker feedback

Just ran a combined arms match earlier yesterday. As a titan with a weapons bubble, you might as well stamp me as a sniper universally from now on. The match was fun for me. Why? Icebreakers impact needs to be nerfed. One body shot is a confirmed kill and combustion does occur. Tanks? Evadeable, but can be a problem depending on the map and bubble placement. Other vehicles? Can't survive with an Icebreaker hitting plus damage. That's the feedback I have right now. I'd honestly add about 7 or 8 to the natural stability of the rifle since it is a single shot from an energy base. No metals in the chamber or shot to really make a sniper rifles recoil so badly, but hey, that's just me. I'd also add .5 to 1 second off the charge time just to compensate for only 6 shots (2 body shots means 3 of 6 is dead and now need to wait for more charge shots. Even with delays in enemy movements, engagements in destiny are lightning fast. All guns should compensate for that logic.) Thoughts, comments, concerns about icebreaker? Share away.

  • No offense meant, but... Nerfing a crappy sniper because of combined arms and Weapons of Light is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. It's a super. Lots of snipers can OHK body with Weapons. And combined arms isn't a regular game mode, so nerfing IB's impact because of it makes no sense. It's like saying "Well, snipers see a lot of usage on combined arms, so we should nerf them in every playlist." It makes no sense whatsoever.
