We know that the Age of Triumph armour set drop rate is pretty pathetic, and there's a reason behind that. Bungie continue to feed your gambling addiction with these Treasure boxes, knowing fine well that 99% of Destiny players are prepared to spend as much money as it takes to complete the armour set.
So, just how much have you spent on gambling boxes to get the Age of Triumph armour set?
-
I have yet to buy any silver and the only piece I am missing on my hunter are the boots hopefully I can complete the set before Destiny 2
-
I've been doing the 3 weekly activities since the Age Of Triumph launched, and I have a pair of gauntlets for my titan to show for it. Pathetic is an understatement. With Destiny 2 weeks away, you might think that Bungie would throw us a bone, and let us get the missing pieces, or at least the Jade Rabbit and Zen Meteor for XBox.
-
I haven't done it for Age of Triumph, but I hear the drop rate is absolutely crap and unlikely for most people to get without spending money. It's a shame, really.
-
-
It was either buy Eververse silver or let the kids eat for the month. Amazing how crayons and ice cubes can sustain life
-
I voted for not gambling but that's not true. I don't spend my money on cosmetic items in a video game (most armour perks are the same so the main difference between different sets of armour is cosmetic) I do buy lottery tickets so I do gamble. The chances are that I am throwing my money away and I have less that 10,000,000 to 1 chance of getting anything worthwhile, but it is better than spending my money on how a character in a game looks
-
I spent 0$ only got like 5 or 6 boxes since AoT and I have 2 pieces
-
I buy chests in destiny instead of putting food on the table for my kids.
-
Not a dime. Eith the drop rates as low as they are, buying more won't imprive it. Since AoT dropped I've gotten maybe 6 pieces of armour, mostly gloves, 1 helmet, chestpiece and thats it.
-
I've spend nearly $500 so far on Age of Triumph. The most I spent was $1,700 when the Christmas event was live
-
Lol armor
-
The Age of Triumph chest is the only piece of the whole gear set that I have. When I open the Treasures of Ages I only get those stupid Halloween consumables or chroma. I don't get gear, sparrows, ships or ornaments. Oh wait I do get gear but its the desolate armor that I already have all the pieces to. The drop rate in destiny alone sucks. Destiny 2 better drop gear a lot better than now. I hate spending hours and days doing the same thing just to get rare engrams.
-
Where's the option for still don't have full set
-
None, because I'm not a fool who enjoys throwing away money. lol.
-
You get the raid armor via these chest?
-
I DIDN'T SPEND SHIT BOY.
-
I believe I'm going to call 90% of the 88% liars if you have more than 3 items on any 1 character. Drop rates are atrocious.
-
ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!
-
Bungie has not given me anymore silver to spend. But will spend it all when they give it to me again.
-
I spent $5 on silver last night got the boots and cloak out of three now just let RNG take it course
-
I got packages here and there a while back. Though after seeing that nothing else matters in this game and most of the stuff from the packages is free now there's really no point in buying them. I still wouldn't be surprised if they just shut everything down for destiny when the second one comes out.
-
I spent my money trying to get the new weapon ornaments. I didn't really care about the armor
-
Why spend money on this?
-
$0. I learned from that mistake way back. Never again. Sure the armor sets are cool but seeing as how NONE of this carries over, anyone who is spending money on this is simply being foolish. On that note, I did have the Titan Helm drop from a free box the other day. Shit rolls so it will collect dust in the Vault.

Edited by YorefuI: 4/28/2017 2:32:37 PMI have never bought silver. Its in game currency so you can gamble for shit. Honestly I dont give a flying f**k about the triumph set. Its all a scam to get more money for this dying game, and I simply refuse to stimulate Bungies pocket through buying extra frivoulous shit. Plus the 50 dollars people are putting in for items that arent carrying over is really dumb, and a good waste of money.

I'm not going to buy any silver anymore, considering it'll all stay in Destiny 1 and I have about everything I want, besides ornaments. So far I've only managed to grab a pair of gauntlets from the AoT set.
