Is there a religion that people believe in destiny universe? Like christianism, islam? Or does everyone take the traveler as a god? And does our guardian believe in something?
-
Well there are instances of religion, not necessarily the guardians religion but there was Oryx, he's considered to be a hive god.

2 RepliesYour character is religious if you want it to be.

1 ReplySurely we'd have moved on from the ridiculous concept of a religion!

They worship the light, they are like Jedi

Christianism? Christianity

I don't think they went that far to implement those details in the lore.

I always had a theory that Saladin was a Muslim because there was a Muslim war leader in 1000 to 1200

7 RepliesIt's the future, the majority of humanity is dead and there's a giant white ball hanging over earth and a shit tonne of aliens trying to kill everyone. I'm pretty sure any stupid religious notions from the dark ages have long been forgotten, thank the traveller.

There's no hint as to if any religions still exist amongst the human civilization. We do know that a few people follow the Traveler religiously, seeing it as a god (the Fallen actually do that, worshiping Servitors as well as the Traveler). Then there's the Hive, who follow the Darkness religiously, and the Vex protecting the Black Garden (along with probably another couple of Vex divisions) who could find no better way to adapt to the Darkness aside by worshiping it as the Hive do So there are some religions in the game that we know of, but I would assume that there are more religions prominent amongst the people of the City that we don't know of

2 RepliesNot that we know of. We know of orders that Guardians of different classes belong to. Titans: Stoneborn First Pillar Firebreak Jagi's Host Warlock: Praxic Order Hunter: Six Coyotes Takanome Rangers Co-Guardian: Lords of Iron The Hidden The Vanguard Corrections, contributions and contradictions welcome.

Only person who can answer that is you. Wish his/her voice now silenced, your Guardian has only the personality that you give them. Do you want your Titan to be a Buddhist or Muslim? He is. Do you want your hunter to pray to the Traveler, or Zeus, or the pagan gods of nature? He does. Think your warlock should worship cupcakes? She'll do just that.

I think the only religion is whatever is related to the traveler/light

The guardians have their own religion - their own perseption of life while hunting down enemies, begging for god rolls and celebrating victories over fallen, taken, hive, vex and cabal. They gather in groups of 3, to pray in a prison or a group of six in a vault. Celebrating in a basement filled with gold or in a throne room where some spent days looking for a way out. Yes, the guardians are religious and they are religiously following their religion. Kill or be killed. Win or loose. Victory or defeat.
