I have no problems with the matchmaking in trials, if i got 8 wins then i should be matched up with another team with 8 wins regardless if that team is MLG players or just scrubs who got lucky.
The problem is those MLG players who hog the spot all weekend long just to stop player from reaching the lighthouse, the so called lighthouse defenders.
Easy fix: You can only use 3 cards per day per account.
This way you can still carry a friend after you have gotten flawless, you can still play and win 50 games in a row if your team is that good, you can still get your bounties done but you can´t play 5 games then reset your card to do the same over and over all day.
Thoughts about this ?

Better idea, Bungie needs to make a system based off how many trips you have made to the light house, and separate players. Ones who have never been, will play other players that have never been. This would be an account based system, they can add a number next to your light level that tells how many lighthouse flawless trip have been made.

Bump, but the streamers will start crying.

No. it's not for average players. Leave it the same.

3 RepliesSo what happens if I get to 3 losses on all 3 cards? Are you saying I can't play trials until the next day? There is really no issue with the current way trials is matched and people doing carries. You sound like one of those people that can't reach LH and want to blame other people that are doing carries or running a stacked team. There is always going to be a team out there that is better. If they are doing a carries then you have the advantage of 3v2. Learn how to counter what they are doing. It is luck of the draw and if you get -3 RNG and go up against someone better than that is just the way it is going to be.

They won't do this because people earn money off of carries.

4 RepliesPlus, if one or two of your team gets kicked during a match. The match is ended for both teams and is erased, never happened, no win or lose, go back to orbit to (regroup if necessary)start over. That way there's no lop sided matches and DDOS's can't get an undeserved win.

Check out @_mantis_'s Tweet: https://twitter.com/_mantis_/status/787114500960821248?s=09 Trials is working as intended. I want to carry friends too but it's much more rewarding doing it they way it is now. If it was easy mode it wouldn't be a big deal.

3 RepliesEdited by KannibalKlown: 11/15/2016 2:38:55 PMI somewhat agree with the guy below in the subsequent posts. At that point you're limiting how much a player can play something which is silly. Personally - I think Trials should be Tiered (with perhaps subsequent better loot per tier). For the people that repeat the mantra of "Trials is the only competitive PvP in the game -- it's where the Elites go" then sure... that's true. But by that premise, shouldn't the elites only want to fight OTHER elites instead of scrubs? It hardly seems like a satisfying win if some 2.0kd's stomp some 1.0kd's. So... make it that one you Lighthouse once during the week you go onto Tier 2. And are only matched with other Tier 2 players for Trials. Then Tier 3. This way you can say "Tier 5 playa in da hoooouuuuse" and feel satisfied you took out the best of the best.
