Sunsingers

Now I know what you all might be thinking: 'not another one of these posts again, get over it OP' but don't worry what I'm about to suggest isn't anything too drastic and will most probably not effect PVP, so you all can lower your pitchforks. Alright so let's start. Firstly let's talk about sunsingers and their role. It's usually said that sunsinger or warlocks in general don't have any specific roles in raids and whatnot unlike nightstalkers and defenders. Even if you do see a sunsinger the person will most likely be using fireborn. I'd like to disagree with the statement that sunsingers are useless. They are actually extremely versatile. They can be used for amazing CC and orb generation as well as great dps and you can use them as an extreme clutch (fireborn where revives are actually possible) . Now lets look at the break down of the various roles a sunsinger can have (I will not factor any exotics) CC(crowd control) sunsingers can be awesome for CC, solar grenades with gift from the sun and using sunburst with song of flame and brimstone. Now basically melee a thrall in a crowd, it blows up causing other thrall to die. Orbs everywhere. Solar grenades are really good for CC. You throw them at an enemy spawn point or at a bunch of enemies and most of them will die or be considerably weakened. This allows to take out ads easily. Also solar grenades last for time so any more enemies that spawn within that time frame will also be weakened or killed / weakened. Now using your super on lower tier enemies already ads a bunch of orbs and CC but with song of flame now your allies can also throw grenades quicker between fire greatly increasing the general CC. Raid application: siege engine. Aksis phase one (light the middle area with fire or throw you're grenade at the spawn area from where shanks come from) and vosiks as well (throw a grenade at the cluster of fallen and watch them all burn) [DPS . Now sunsingers can deal some serious dps. Fusion grenades, radiant skin, for melee you can choose any, viking funeral, ignite. OK so basically you can dish out some serious damage on bosses while providing a small boost to damage for you're allies. Not much to really say here. Radiant skin allows you to step up into the frontlines and take damage while still being able to dps a boss. Fusion grenades are also the best for single target damage and with ignite and VF this boosts the damage you deal. Raid Application: Aksis phase 2. Vosiks. clutch . Lastly firebone. You can use whatever you like here as you basically can come back to life and make sure an activity isn't a wipe and bring you're team back like in nightfalls. Raid application: the other two roles listed above are far more useful. Alright so since we have a breakdown let's get to the buffing part now. Add song of flame as a part of radiance This can help out in all ways including CC and dps. For dps imagine you're shooting aksis. You throw a grenade at him and continue shooting. Grenade comes back you use it. This should help increase dps. song of flame now decreases ability cool downs further and radius of effect is increased This helps the CC build so much more. More grenades = more destruction. solar wind This thing is basically useless. It should have an increase in range. sunburst Grenade multi kills generates an orb of light as well. Who doesn't like more grenades. Also makes this class increase its support. angel of light Kills while this is active give a small portion of grenade and melee energy upon a kill. viking funeral PUT DOWN THOSE PITCHFORKS. While VF is active give it a kind of visual like how enemies have that wierd thing above their heads when blinded. Make it orange and put like maybe a line above it per stack. I really want to know how long it's lasting and how many stacks are applied. Well that concludes this post! I'm pretty sure it won't really have that great of an effect on the crucible. I'd love to hear any suggestions or any feedback!
You all should know that I'm a filthy casual and some of this might sound obsurd or game breaking (I hope it doesn't) so yeah please be gentle with the flaming. And DAMN that's one big wall of text I wrote. I didn't think it'd be this long...
