First off, you sound like an elitist asshole.
Second off, you're looking at the wrong games. Go ahead and play CSGO, Squad, Dark Souls, Halo 5 firefight, or Battlefield. All these games are still challenging.
And third off, I agree with you're second argument

The games I play, are deteriorating before my very eyes, and it saddens me.
Also, don't use that elitist crap on me. It is a blanket statement, used by casual gamers in order to demonize hardcore gamers for wanting more challenging content. If I announced my support of removing casual content, then I would be an elitist asshole, but guess what? I'M NOT.
I too seek out more challenging games, but I still believe the term elitist is legitimate when talking about gamers who post this sort of whining complaint.

you want to know why they are supposedly "demonizing" hardcore gamers? It's because hardcore gamers have names that put down casual players If I announced my support of removing casual content, then I would be an elitist asshole, but guess what? I'M NOT. you would also look like an elitist if you constantly brag about you being a hardcore gamer, and claim that people that don't devote as much time in into games as you do, or aren't as good at them are what's ruining gaming.
