We have confirmed that there is an issue with how Ships and Shaders are being rewarded from Vanguard, Crucible, and Faction packages. We are currently working on a change to this system.

Same issue here. In addition faction, Cryptard, crucible, Vanguard package all drop at 330 or less. I don't know if this was the way it's supposed to be but it's discouraging to get the same weapons over and over at less than useful comparative light level. My characters are at 333 and can't seem to progress without major group activities. I used to solo COE for drops but that's screwed now with the increase in Variks impatience. Additionally, I just finished the Daily today and once I got to the end room I thought I'd farm some glimmer and get grenade bounties out of the way. Nope. With my Vanguard shell for Vex equiped I got 0 additional glimmer for killing Vex, as well, neither did any of my grenade kills count toward the bounties. If this is by design I don't understand the reasoning behind punishing customers for being clever. The reef Cryptard displays double the amount of found packages to exchanged for glimmer. And when leveling up with them the reef Crypturd will not give you a package. You must return to the tower and get it from Raoul. Again if this is by design then it escapes my comprehension. They both perform the same function and it wastes time bouncing back and forth for something that could easily be resolved at either social area.

Tower factions drops top out at 330 - you can get 335 gear from iron banner- kings fall raid & challenge of elders - 335 artifact drop from tier 3 court of oryx Note: the stronger you are the better chance of high in drops Example: I didn't get my 335 artificial until I was 334 - and now that I'm 335 I some times get 334 gear from challenge of elders

Well i just reached rank 100 in vangaurd on my titan last night and as you can probably guess i still don't have the fatal vision ship thats 30 plus ranks since the april update on my titan alone. Remember to rank up vangaurd you can't just had in materials or spam heavy ammos at them to rank them up. You have to do patrols, bounties, strikes and nightfalls (thats alot of hours). The other issue is when rise of iron comes out it possible that year 2 rewards won't be available anymore meaning those that don't have it can't get it. If bungie could please confirm this. It has been an issue for almost ten months. It took them ten months to respond to an issue. We'll see if they actually fix it.

Some players that wasted tons of hours just look at my playtime almost 3500 strikes tring to get these ships should be given them in thier post master. Seriously almost 3500 strikes and I have no materials cause I put them into my factions and been posting on the forums all year! Just got its all RNG form moderators and finally you come out about it. $200 in Stirling treasure for boosters all wasted for something broken on Bungies end. Look at my play time my blue prints and see I have my life into this game. P.S Please bring back SLR had a death in the family and missed all that event so blue prints grimoire all lost. PSS bring back the queens wrath chasing infinity ship I did that event every day on all 3 chars and never got it stupid RNG and I never got a chances to get it back again. Petra rank up would be a great way to get ppl doing those bounties for it to drop.!
