Why I Agree With Most Of The Class Changes - Kudos Bungie (TL;DR Warning)

Now I just want to say quickly that this has nothing to do with weapon changes, that's a whole other kettle of fish (although I am glad they're doing a bit more about phantom bullets). TL;DR is at the bottom. So in regards to class re-balances I have to say I was very surprised at first, a lot of the changes were based on actual feedback we've been giving them for some time. And no, I'm not happy about the tripmine and throwing knife nerfs but I do kinda understand the tripmine nerf. The main thing to take away from the patch for classes is the massive PvE buff most supers got and desperately needed. People have been complaining about them being underpowered for months now and I find it hilarious that Bungie actually listened, did what we wanted, and yet no one even cares enough to mention it. Gunslinger also got some quality of life improvements in the Deadeye, Chain Of Woe and Circle Of Life buffs. Now as for Tripmine grenade I believe it was nerfed because they want it to purely be used as a trap, not as a throw-able instakill, however I do disagree with the nerf since it was quite hard to use it like that and the fusion grenade is far easier to use in that way. (throwing knife damage nerf was just plain unnecessary. If you didn't like the damage with incendiary blade then nerf that not the entire ability and make it even harder to use in Crucible, thanks >.>) Bladedancer I don't have too many problems with since they didn't nerf Fast Twitch too much meaning it's still really good for melee builds. However I see a lot of people complaining about the changes to the super - the changes made are to make it work in a way that punishes you for using it for maneuvering but reward you for hitting enemies with it, meaning you have to be more precise. This is emphasized by the slightly increased time limit and the massive buff to Encore. The only other truly controversial thing here that needed addressing is Sunsingers. This is something that has really split the community and either side I agree with will cause me to get hate from the other. That being said I am in favour of the changes made to Viking Funeral. Firebolt's always have and always will be very powerful grenades, especially with two of them, and Viking made it so you can chuck two and sweep up a ton of kills with almost no skill or effort, and if you chuck just one you essentially remove someone ffrom the game for over 10 seconds assuming you don't get the kill. You will still be able to use them efficiently and easily pick up kills with them, the only difference is now if someone survives they can still fight back. TL;DR - Most of the buffs were things the majority of players have wanted for ages, so be happy for once. Yes some of the nerfs do suck, but there are legitimate reasons behind most of them and I agree with those reasons (except throwing knife nerf -_-). Anyway these are just my thoughts and opinions based on my experience with the game so please don't flame me.
