Challenge of Elders is now BROKEN..
With the new "Veriks grows impatient" point penalty the fun of going to PoE has been ruined. We got up to over 1500 points in the first round then the impatience took effect and the round ended with us having a little over six hundred. I won't return to the PoE if this isn't remedied. Great job Bungie.

3 RepliesWe hit over 40k without trying. And that was after burning through the first round with less than 1000. Not sure what the problem is. I actually noticed the decrease when it happened, but didn't affect my game play

CoE is junk ass shit anyway, Junk rewards, junk gameplay... you could do a raid and get 10 times the amount of ger you would doing CoE.

His has to be B8. I didn't notice any problem. Are you not getting head shots? Are you not assisting your team? Are you not throwing grenades? Are you not spamming super to generate orbs? All these extra points should cover it.

Lol i just made a post about how its broken for solo play now. Be prepared, I'm still getting notifications 2 days later. But honestly you should be able to get it done with a team, just melee everything. I finished with way more than that in round 1 solo

Also, she's got a light level of 311 or something and I'm pretty sure she managed to get over 600 points in one round by herself.

You need to consistently be damaging the boss, not much mind you, but that timer kicks in when the boss dosent take damage... Good luck

1 ReplyEdited by Meownotone: 6/17/2016 11:01:32 PMThe modifiers hardly mean shit honestly. They are the difference between having to run CoE twice instead of thrice, but a whole run takes about 20 - 25 minutes. Just go precision kills and you'll do fine.

2 RepliesYou need your team to do two things at once. Ad petrol to keep the score up and the other kill the boss. Only teamwork can win this and people must do there rolls given to them.

2 RepliesThe average score in round one is 6000 to 8000. If you're only at 1500 you need to level up and practice assist chains and melee kills for this week. Granted this is a harder week but 40k point runs should be easily doable

5 RepliesHow is that possible? We made it through easily on all three toons. It wasn't as easy as last week, but was still pretty easy. Before you say anything, in our group the youngest player was 55.

I almost always go for precision kills, regardless of the modifier. I always go in without a mic and with random people. I focus on the little guys first then use everything on the boss until the next round of little guys come. Maybe you already do that, but it usually gets me 15,000-20,000 and the other guys add in the rest or way more. I also try not to run around a lot, but rather defend an area. Good luck.

You guys obviously suck then. Had no problem running 30/90 in 3 runs. Over 5,000 every first round.
