Wombo Combo is OP and needs nerf asap
Loljo, wombo is fine. Seriously, it takes [i]three[/i] abilities on your tree, plus a melee and grenade charge. It's countered by walking backwards a few feet, and it doesn't even work half the time. Plus, you forget that Nightstalker grenades are absolute garbage on their own.
Also, that's a video of a Tripmine doing something no "wombo combo" ever will. Just saying.

3 RepliesWombo Combo is a practically a micro Tether and can wreck an entire team by holding players in place and blinding them, while the second grenade and gunfire do the rest. Tripmines can wreck a mob and can lockdown an entire area longer than smoke if placed properly - set it and forget it for free kills. Both grenades are ridiculously good, and I'd be a liar if I said I didn't want Tripmine on my snake ass Titan. The possibilities would be just...wrong... I think it's the feeling of helplessness that makes people hate Wombo Combo even more, because instead of insta killing you, it trolls you to death - this hate can also be extended to Firebolt grenades, which don't flat out kill you, but restrict and make you feel weak until you do die - just like WC does. Also, seeing them always (and I mean always) do that annoying roll afterwards... *bites lip*

10 RepliesBetween wallhacks with tracking, broken ass shadestep, the ridiculous power level of smoke, and a *slightly* harder to hit gg that gives armor on activation, while suppressing, slowing, and increasing damage to targets even if you miss. Between all of that, there are no downsides to running a nightstalker. They are without a doubt the most bull shit subclass in the crucible right now. Most subclasses sacrifice super power for neutral game or vice versa, but with nightstalker you get it all. The best neutral game of any subclass, and arguably the best roaming super. Something needs to go.

Hell I run invis on my smoke lol I love sneaking up on shotgun campers and snipers lol. Most times when I'm in a fireteam people are psyched to run through my smoke with me to get a jump on a group capturing a zone or camping.

Titans have their lightening and warlocks well they have all their nades. If any hunter nade is op it would be the tripmine. Should it get nerfed? Prob not since their super sucks. Nothing the void hunter has is op but allllll their perks add up to being very op in pvp. That said I wish they would bring the warlocks and the sunbreaker up

Your right it's fine, everything has to go right for it to work. Usually it just creates a diversion. But when it works it's so good.

1 ReplyWe could put a delay between throwing the wambo combo, put a time delay on when the smoke explodes, or we could just do a flat nerf to the radius of the smoke. Unless someone else can come up with anything that can help.

8 RepliesDude your hunter is 292 compared to your 335/332 Titan and warlock. If u actually played more on your hunter u would realize that wombo combo does not always secure u a kill. It is very easy to miss. And it takes 3 skill tree spots. Compared to shoulder charge and flame shield that only take 1. So do think wombo combo is op no. Most people who complain about don't play hunter often.
