Yep, I think this was my 3rd or 4th attempt at playing this playlist? Absolutely and complete garbage.
I couldn't do jack. 5 Kills 16 deaths. I was literally the fodder, feeding kills to the leader. Not exactly encouraging.
Top player, 5.25 KD, completely destroyed the rest of us. Looks like I've been thoroughly spoiled by playing 6v6, where I could at least count on friendly players to provide a distraction at least.
I know this game mode is supposed to teach me how to pick my lanes better, but my god, when some of the best players said this is a brutally honest play list, they weren't kidding.
I'm not even going to blame my load out, which was Mida and a Shotgun (Considered by some or most to be "crutch" or "tryhard" setups). This was downright depressing.
Not sure how some people do it. I think it was Truevanguard who suggested picking an area and locking it down, make it your stomping ground, instead of going around hunting. You're just asking to get double teamed at that point. Will have to remember that, since I found myself constantly getting gunned down in the open and just getting crapped on by everyone in the lobby.
I WILL get better at this darn play list, but god it's going to be a LONG and PAINFUL trek I feel. Guess I better get used to taking it deep and dry, because this isn't going to be a fun walk through the woods.

i go into rumble with the vex mythoclast and win almost almost every match. Its still a bomb weapon im pvp tbh.

5 RepliesI read your comments with some comfort. My experience of Crucible is almost the same. I play totally awful three or four games, (maybe more if I can stomach it) in a row can't hit anything, die to the unlikeliest of blue weapons. Last night one-shot by some guy after I'd landed three headshots (a feat in itself!) to by a blue Suros AR-something. Fusion, melee, guy still has 75% health, one hit melee to me - I'm dead. Then like a pig finding a truffle, I go and get a 3.5 plus KD game and I have no idea why that is...Same level of opponents, used the same tactics, guns, subclass, same maps. I've had 30 plus kills on Bannerfall, 14000 point rift game, came away last night with 0.3KD.... :(

Rumble is good times and worth grinding out to get better as it will definitely help your skill level, i always get too caught up in the moment and just use my primary the whole time (other than nades and melee). Keep at it sir, youll get better.

Some players just prefer FFA's. I had a game the other day to get my daily done and ended with a 15-5 win. I find its more luck than judgement in FFA's. If you can run into a player that's just been in a fire fight with another player and pick his sorry ass off you're golden. I got through on headshots and idiots chasing through my Vortex nades. Just stick to 6v6's if it suits your playstyle better.

I do it for bounties. I've lost a few in the last seconds and it's frustrating, because me being close to winning in rumble is an accomplishment.

I like rumble but there is no ranks in destiny so its difficult to really get into it for more than a game or two. Also on smaller map you need to have a god tier shotgun.

My loadout in Rumble will always be a max Agility Hunter with Universal Remote and Fast Twitch. It becomes pretty fun when all you do is rush.

I tried back in the day to max out grimoire, which meant winning 100 rumble games for 15 points or so. I played a fair few games and got second literally 30 times, first maybe a handful. #foreversecond

Played the daily rumble a few days ago after a huge destiny drought and started off pretty rough trying to use hung jury and hawkmoon. Then I noticed the new PoE auto rifle I had and man, it was actually pretty good. Finished top and now my faith in autos returns ever so slightly.

Oddly I find I'm generally best in Rumble and I'm a mediocre player 1.2~ kd. Some play styles are just best suited to certain game modes I think.

I quite enjoy rumble. Unlike objective or team game types players don't usually camp with a sniper in the corner of the map and wait for people to come to them. Everyone is being attacked from all sides. There are certain builds that are broken in this game mode, and I can't argue with that.

Yeah hang in there. I was the same once but after playing longer I'm generally at least mid pack and around 1.4ish. No where near as good as some people but I like to think I can hold my own most games.

Good luck to the "good" players who rely on special in rumble. Good luck using that 1000 yard when you don't have any special. Time to learn what a primary is you scrub.
