Yep, I think this was my 3rd or 4th attempt at playing this playlist? Absolutely and complete garbage.
I couldn't do jack. 5 Kills 16 deaths. I was literally the fodder, feeding kills to the leader. Not exactly encouraging.
Top player, 5.25 KD, completely destroyed the rest of us. Looks like I've been thoroughly spoiled by playing 6v6, where I could at least count on friendly players to provide a distraction at least.
I know this game mode is supposed to teach me how to pick my lanes better, but my god, when some of the best players said this is a brutally honest play list, they weren't kidding.
I'm not even going to blame my load out, which was Mida and a Shotgun (Considered by some or most to be "crutch" or "tryhard" setups). This was downright depressing.
Not sure how some people do it. I think it was Truevanguard who suggested picking an area and locking it down, make it your stomping ground, instead of going around hunting. You're just asking to get double teamed at that point. Will have to remember that, since I found myself constantly getting gunned down in the open and just getting crapped on by everyone in the lobby.
I WILL get better at this darn play list, but god it's going to be a LONG and PAINFUL trek I feel. Guess I better get used to taking it deep and dry, because this isn't going to be a fun walk through the woods.

I'm trash at rumble and crucible in general, but somehow won my last inferno rumble match. If inferno rumble counted towards the grimoire, I would grind that playlist for my 100 and never touch it again. As it stands, looks like max grimoire is just a dream.

Rumble can be pretty unrelenting. I do recommend the "protect an area strategy" if you want to stay positive, but you'll likely have to be more mobile if you want to come out on top.. One key element to this game is remembering it's everybody for themselves. Listen for gunfire and you can usually arrive second and clean up someone else's kill, or even better, interrupt a gunfight and get a double.

Rumble is so easy i dont have to worry about teamates feeding the enemy theyre supers im usually first but on occasion someone will take first if even by 100 points.

Rumble is the easiest for me. I only play it for the faction cloak quests for the Crucible wins because I don't need to worry about any team mates

I used to play the crap out of Regicide on Halo 4. I still have the theater recording of the match where I won in around 3 minutes in a fresh match. But then 343i moved Regicide to the FFA playlist which ruined the game mode with 8 players instead of 6. I never got the commendation for Regicide wins, despite being only 6 wins away. And now I don't play FFA game modes. Halo 4 broke me as a PVP player with those bullshit commendations and terrible forge map lag. I just don't really care anymore about trying to be the best. Getting Grimoire for winning in Rumble means I will have to git gud again, even though I really don't feel like it. Plus the lag alone in Destiny makes it so much more frustrating. My gaming PVP skills, RIP. You are gone but not forgotten.

Played inferno rumble las week for my steerling treasure.. won in less than 4 or 5 mins.. my new toy? Soulsteelers claw.. and i mainly play pve all the time.

8 RepliesI played rumble yesterday because it was the daily. I rarely play rumble because it's annoying to get shot from behind right after defeating a guardian. I almost always snipe, but this time I equipped a fusion. I won the match. Sniping doesn't work well in rumble. You need a good close range weapon to take people out quickly.

I tend tofind rumble comes down to who can spawn kill the best, since I never play that abomination of a game mode I found myself on the recieving end of it. Needlrss to say it was not fun, as the maps just dont work with rumble. Either that or the spawn logic is just that shit.

To get the rumble wins for grimoire I played on my warlock. To day, this is my highest KD on any game mode at almost 1.5. I'm not good at crucible but it sure is fun.

6 RepliesI like rumble because it feels like year 1. Fast paced. All my lobbies are Thorn/Hawksaw/Hawkmoon/TLW and Matador 64. Everyone is a juggernaut striker, shadestepping Hunter, or Sunsinger. I do enjoy it a lot though, even though I'm not amazing
