Yep, I think this was my 3rd or 4th attempt at playing this playlist? Absolutely and complete garbage.
I couldn't do jack. 5 Kills 16 deaths. I was literally the fodder, feeding kills to the leader. Not exactly encouraging.
Top player, 5.25 KD, completely destroyed the rest of us. Looks like I've been thoroughly spoiled by playing 6v6, where I could at least count on friendly players to provide a distraction at least.
I know this game mode is supposed to teach me how to pick my lanes better, but my god, when some of the best players said this is a brutally honest play list, they weren't kidding.
I'm not even going to blame my load out, which was Mida and a Shotgun (Considered by some or most to be "crutch" or "tryhard" setups). This was downright depressing.
Not sure how some people do it. I think it was Truevanguard who suggested picking an area and locking it down, make it your stomping ground, instead of going around hunting. You're just asking to get double teamed at that point. Will have to remember that, since I found myself constantly getting gunned down in the open and just getting crapped on by everyone in the lobby.
I WILL get better at this darn play list, but god it's going to be a LONG and PAINFUL trek I feel. Guess I better get used to taking it deep and dry, because this isn't going to be a fun walk through the woods.

Rumble is weird for me. I generally have a good experience though I play rarely. It gets too personal, and you can tell by how the players change during the match. It will go from fun to grudge match in 1 minute and the fun is robbed.

I had that problem but I've seen some improvement. I actually won a match last night. It can be frustrating sometimes for sure but it's like any other mode in the fact that you get used to playing one certain way but then have to switch your style to suit the game mode.

A couple of days ago I played rumble with my defender titan and only used a fusion rifle and nades - I won my second ever rumble match 😀 There is hope! Keep at it.

Strangely I'm top 2% in rumble Elo but in 6v6 I stay around a 1-1.2 kd. And still haven't found that magical flawless team I've been looking for.

hahaha I'm just above average in crucible, but for rumble/mayhem rumble i'm in the top 3%. Go figure...

What is worse than sucking at rumble? Sucking at it and also being dropped in a match in progress on the weekly mayhem rumble. First sounds my hunter heard coming out of orbit - titan hammers and heavy ready. Next sound - stormcaller...then I hit the ground.

I'm trash at rumble and crucible in general, but somehow won my last inferno rumble match. If inferno rumble counted towards the grimoire, I would grind that playlist for my 100 and never touch it again. As it stands, looks like max grimoire is just a dream.
