Going against the juggernaut that is Dark Souls 3... ON launch day?
You crazy?
Without getting our feet wet, and at least trying to make progress towards getting up our light? You are going to put your best effort into making the game come back to life, on the same day that people expect to die 1,000 times.

No way am I missing out on DKS3 on 4/12 for the Destiny spring update. Bad move on Bungie's part, in my opinion. Who else is buying Dark Souls 3 on 4/12? What classes are you guys choosing? I'm choosing the Pyromancer.

I'd rather kill myself a thousand times than play Destiny on that day. And that's exactly what I'm going to do. Because it's Dark Souls. Which makes you kill yourself thousands of times. And I'm dreading it. Can't wait.

It'll have a little impact. While to me or any other Souls fan that enjoy the punishing and cruelship the series throws at you, I know plenty who don't play it. Going against Destiny whose player base snubbed The Division cause it was a TPS I don't think the majority still hanging around are going to play DS3. I however will be playing DS3 as it is my only overly HYPED game this year. Then I'll poke at Destiny afterwards.

Will there be any difference? I die hundreds of times in Crucible to some hunter/titan/warlock using a shotgun, who viciously T-bags me later (because he's sooooo MLG...). I also die hundreds of times in Dark Souls to some -blam!-ing mushroom/zombie/clam-thing/etc, who watches my body disappear inches away from the souls I was trying to collect. Both give me the intense desire to smash my controller through the screen, and into their faces. So no. I'm gonna play both games back-to-back on 12th April, so I can properly cry myself to sleep at night.

1 ReplyEdited by mJORG77: 3/20/2016 12:41:14 AMi made a personal record of finishing ds1 on 1:23:23 all bosses and just a few moments ago finished my 4th no death run on ds2, i have preordered ds3 and i am so hyped wheather i give any attention to destiny for a month or two ( at least) after ds3 comes out will depend on wheather they fix the reward system or not
