The Suros Regime can't cut it for me anymore. I'm looking for something powerful. Legendary or exotic.

Paleocontact is my absolute favorite primary right now. With counterbalance and persistence, it's about the quarters the max stability. Super easy to control. Almost maxed rate of fire. Rifled bore for significant boost to range. It destroys

Believe it or not but the Monte Carlo is a actual animal, it sheds through your opponents like butter (use aggressive ballistics and the extended mags for close range encounters and range and stability perks for long / they both work for med range ;)

1 ReplyAnswering Chord: SRO-37 + Smallbore = Cap Auto Rifle Range Smallbore + Perfect Balance + Counterbalance = No stability problems ever Shadow Price: Red Dot ORES = Better Handling, Range, and Recoil Direction Red Dot ORES + Rangefinder + Smallbore = 50 range stat + Rangefinder buff = 60 range Red Dot ORES + Counterbalance + Smallbore = 70 stability with really good recoil direction Paleocontact JPK-43 Red Dot ORES = Better Handling, Range, and Recoil Direction Red Dot ORES + Rangefinder + Rifled Barrel = 47 range stat + Rangefinder buff = 56 range Red Dot ORES + Counterbalance = 78 stability with really good recoil direction Don't get Grim Citizen III because it's inferior to Shadow Price or Answering Chord stats wise. Doctrine of Passing is too obvious so I didn't talk about it.

Legendary or exotic.[/quote] Doctrine is the most overused primary auto rifle because of its high rate of fire and its decent perks like "persistence"; aside that, I find myself using some other worthy auto rifles such Haakons Hatchet, the iron banner auto rifle. Its stats are impressive enough; I think they are pretty close to Monte Carlo's, however I was lucky enough to acquire it with actually some severely badass perks, like "armor piercing rounds", "persistence" and "glass half-full" so in crucible it's literally a beast! Almost in every gun fight, with the opposing guardian using Doctrine, I simply win for the above mentioned reason. Furthermore Grim Citizen is also a very impressive auto rifle which is rewarded as a drop after any crucible game. This auto rifle has the damage archetype of high impact and low rate of fire and more range than stability. I think it could be very useful. Last but not least if you are looking for a high rate of fire auto rifle apart from Doctrine of Passing (simply because many of us find difficult to make our way to the lighthouse) you better check your vault for the legendary (literally) Unwilling Soul, a Dead Orbit modified auto rifle with full rate of fire on its stats plus an oversized magazine of 72 rounds! Once you acquire this weapon you can simply fix its perks by reforging it to the gunsmith. However aside its insane magazine and rate of fire, it has very low stability which could be fixed by the corresponding perk. These are my ideas about what auto rifle someone can use for the best results.
