Because I like to play with friends, and my friends like to play Xbox, therefor I play Xbox with my friends, I guess that makes me a needle divk with biased opinions and have no friends. Da fuq

I don't hate Playstation. I own a PS4 and a Vita. I know the Ponies are the same as the Xbots last gen crowing about 360. The success of the PS4 made Microsoft get their act together and put good people in charge like Phil Spencer. I play on Xbox, because that's where my friends play. When Xbox and PlayStation battle it out, we win!

I'm more of an Xbox player only using my PS4 for exclusives. As for console wars defining what side you're on, I honestly do not care. Both sides have good systems and likewise both sides have many friendly people and the occasional bastard unfortunately but that's all said true wherever you go. Let bygones be bygones.

I don't hate any players that are on a different platform. There's no need to we all go and buy the same game to have fun and kick ass, doesn't matter if you're playing PS4, Xbox One, or a PC. We all game! The people who do start console wars are the people I think are frustrated with their current console therefore they bash people that have a different one so they don't feel bad about themselves.

I went from PlayStation to Xbox because of my entertainment style. I lean towards watching shows or movies while playing a game or two here and there during the days. PlayStation seems to lean more into games if anything so that's why but I'm not saying PlayStation is bad or anything.

You can't transfer GTA and Destiny characters from 360 to PS4. Not to mention most of my 360 friends who upgraded got Xbox One. Ive seen the immature side of the PS player base but also the more intellectual side. There are also deciding factors at play that are simply stone cold facts: PS doesn't have Halo, Xbox has some Ace Combat games but most of them are PS exclusives. The PS3 had free online but no party chat. Not to mention the analog sticks are really close together and the controller is tiny by comparison to the 360 one. PS Move kinda ripped off the WiiMote. PS4 and Xbox One controllers both have their quirks (light bar + touchpad and impulse triggers respectively). PS controllers come with rechargeble batteries and a cable but Xbox controllers allow for battery swaps without voiding your warranty (this includes rechargebles). PS4 has more power but X1 has a better OS. PSN is generally more suseptible to attacks from hackers. You take your pick.

I don't hate the Playstation. I prefer the controller of the Xbox. I have existing friends on Xbox who a good chunk of I know outside of gaming. I preferred the dashboard of the Xbox line until this latest iteration of Xbone. I preferred their exclusive games, this console cycle seems to be lacking compared to the 360 lifecycle. But it's still early. So taking my 4 reasons and applying that same logic to most gamers I can see why they picked the console they did.
