I don't know how many of you around here still know me, but I've been here a while and i just wanted to share this.
The doctor just confirmed yesterday what my wife and I have suspected since last Thursday... She's pregnant and I'm going to be a dad! We're both very excited because this is something we've been looking forward to for some time.
Let's make a discussion of this, though. How many of you out there are parents? Do you have any stories or advice to share about your first child?

My baby mama was a week overdue, so the doctors ended up inducing her. She was stuck dilated at 3cm for the entire week she was overdue, and even when we went to the hospital to enduce, she was still at 3 and felt no contractions. They gave her the drugs, 2 hours passed and she was still at 3. I go downstairs to get lunch, and within an hour, she had skyrocketed to 9.5, and didn't start feeling it until about the last half an hour. She planned on receiving an epidural, but by the time she started feeling the contractions, she was already at 9.5 and it was too late. She only ended up having a 3 hour labor with a half an hour of pushing. ...I hope the same for you and your wife. EDIT: Son of a -blam!-, I just proved MAZ right.
I can see it going that way for us too... So far, she hasn't felt any contractions at all, and she still hasn't dilated any. At least she's still comfortable. In fact, we just got back from the gym... She's still coming with me five nights a week.
Lucky; my lady ended up with PUPS and toxemia for her last couple of trimesters. Dude, you'll be lucky to get away with a labor like ours, even if it did end up being natural childbirth. Most first pregnancies have like a 12+ hour labor. That 3 1/2 hours is somewhere on par with Octomom.
Perhaps... But I've heard similar stories form other people who had to be induced. Fingers crossed.
Oh okay. ...good luck buddy.

Put them in self defense classes like Kung Fu. everyone needs to know how to fight, and I mean you'll have to out them in those classes for the rest of their childhood so they'll be really good at asskicking.

Primo84 never does anything by accident. I'm guessing he bumped this just so he could talk about him becoming a dad. >_> Wait, Primo's going to be a dad? wtfwdth? -MAZ
