We put down others beliefs and ideas, we don't seem to value life or the planet that we all share. To you and others like you, instead of saying you want to leave one area/ place... HOW ABOUT YOU BE THE ANSWER? Be the CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE. It takes little to ruin a good thing and a lot to make bad things good. We should all be the action and bring the change we want. I'm not ashamed to be an American, but I'm not a gun toting cool guy who likes to get on the internet and talk about the second amendment like I'm a GD founding father. Pretty sure that's what makes some ashamed to call themselves American. I'm a proud American who simply wishes all the blowhards would stfu already (ignorance is only bliss if you're the ignorant one). America is great because it's a place where you are free to think, and do - as long as it doesn't infringe on another person's freedom to think and do. When you start telling people they're an idiot for not being proud of being an American, you should ask why - not "GTFO". Take in different perspectives - you never know, you might learn something yourself. Having this my 'way or the highway' attitude that most of the openly vocal (really sorry, but I have to use the word...) "conservatives" do stifles progression and the freedoms of others. That would be the one reason I could see myself eventually leaving, honestly. I'm not using that word in a political sense, btw, more in the "this is what America is, will always be, and if you change it we're going to have another civil war" attitude that's growing momentum somehow in 2015. All that being said, I've been to many places all over the world. Some better, some worse, than 'Murica, all for a variety of reasons. 'Murica is great, but so is Germany. Germany is great, but so is Sweden, etc. Not looking for a political argument, just my two cents and something to consider before going on blast just because someone has a different viewpoint of the world than you do.
