Yeah, I think it was made out of paranoia of being alone, the fear of being erased like his friends and what he saw in the vault. Supposedly, there were six fireteam members. Praedyth recalls them for a moment, but then it's never mentioned again by him, Pahanin or anyone else So, with Praedyth saying there were only three of them probably means they were completely wiped whereas Praedyth is stuck in a kind of time limbo

  • It seems the Vex are keeping him for something. It still doesn't make sense why the vex didn't attack us during the Golden Age eitehr, they don't seem to have an agenda completely against the Traveler though. And I think everyone thought it was Kabr that drove him insane, or drove him to not want to be alone, but the tragic reality that it was his friends disappearing, and yet he didn't know they disappeared ebcause they never existed. That also leads to question what repercussions were caused by them just disappearing from reality, how much did that affect the world and reality itself?

Praedyth has been helping us to clear the Taken away from the Vex.. which seems to be a probable reason (though I wouldn't say it's the only reason) in the mission glitch in Paradox this week Praedyth explains that what you are seeing is the end of the Vex (corrupted by Taken) even though the thing that corrupted them is long since dead it just hasn't reached that branch of time. But I feel there is more than just keeping him to communicate with you.. not sure what. Not sure what the Vexs' game is.. because like you said they seem to have no interest in the tower, traveler or earth.. And yes, that's enough to make anyone crazy for sure. Especially when you know that someone existed but no one else does..

  • I feel it was less he knew someone existed and no one else does, and more of like Kabr, he knew he wasn't aloe when doing the vault, but unsure why or how. And we know the vex are evil in someway, I believe wanting to make everything the void. But they didn't destroy us during the golden age... maybe they used us and the traveller to fight the Hive and stop oryx, the one thing they can't understand? And I m not sure with Oraedyth. He didn't know too much of what was going on with taken it seemed, and I think it's called paradox not only because praedyth is alive, but the taken are in an instance where arguably praedyth exists, which makes no sense. It's a paradox timewise. That aside, I don't know why they are keeping him alive, but even weirder is how ghost and ikora don't even care or find it weird he has been dead for THOUSANDS of years. I mean, the golden age was only like 500 years ago right? Or only started then I believe
